Quartermaster

From Scouting

The Quartermaster (QM) is the youth in charge of equipment.

1. Appointed By: SPL w/Scoutmaster's consent
2. Reports to: ASPL
3. Responsibilities:
   • Keeps track of troop equipment:
     • In good repair
     • In good order
     • Lends out and sees it return
   • Works with Troop Commitee Member in charge of Equipment
   • Serves on the PLC
   • Set’s a good example
   • Enthusiastically wear’s the uniform correctly
   • Shows scout spirit
4. Qualifications:
   • First Class
5. Fulfills:
   • Star - 5
   • Life - 5
   • Eagle – 4
   • Palm - 3
6. Recommended
   • Attending Junior Leader Training run by Troop
7. Term
   • Till next election, removal, or will to change
   • Either 6 months or until a new quartermaster can take his place, whichever is most perdent

   • You may have more than one QM at the same level
