New site

We have started a new site. An announcement will come to you soon.

We have copied most of the pages in this site to a new one. We are putting the finishing touches on it. We expect to be notifying current registered users of this site between 1/15 and 1/20. All work that has been done on this site has or will be copied to the new site.

The new site will give us more control and allow our members more flexibility. For example, we will be allowing registered users to be able to upload photos (250k max each). Of course will will have our own url (domain name).

Chris is also excited because, the new site will also allow us to add additional programs to support the various things we do. For example, we could run course management software (Moodle), that might allow us to have private chat rooms, forums, libraries, event sections, courses, rss feeds and other activities for our members and others to participate in asynchronously. There are other free open source programs that might assist us to be more effective and efficient.
