Dates I am always forgetting: Biafra: May 30, 1967 to January 15, 1970.

Training started at MSU in July 1965? After 8 weeks we went to St. Croix for 4 more weeks. We had about a week at home, to pack etc and left NYC for Lagos in Sept/Oct 1965 ? The PCVs were evacuated from Biafra in August? 1967 After leaving Port Harcourt for Lagos in an empty freighter, I was flown to Accra where a group of us waiting reassignment. I think 8 of us went to Somalia, with a long stop in Addis while our visas were arranged. We arrived in Somalia. Sept 1966? I was stationed in Hargeisa (North). I went home on leave in Feb 1967, I returned to Hargeisa, then joined a traveling Peace Corp music band as a roadie in April 1967. We ended up in Mog. I left Somalia in Oct 1968. In January 1969 my Draft Board ordered me to take a physical, After breaking my wrist in a motorcycle accident, I was drafted in Nov 1969
