Help with training dates
I am really confused about training dates. I tried working things backwards from an Nov 6 1965 arrival in Lagos. I just don't remember a crush of students arriving at MSU while we were there, but maybe that is selective memory. Currently student start classes at MSU around 8/27.
- I have always thought we had 8 weeks of training at MSU, 4 in St. Croix. I don't remember how long I had at home, 3 weeks seems like a long time. So that spans 17 weeks to a 7/14 start.
- Working backwards, started MSU on 7/14, arrived St. Croix 9/11. started leave 10/9 arrived Lagos 11/6
- If that time spans over 18 weeks, this would push the dates a week earlier, 7/7 with an arrive St. Croix on or about 9/3 with a visit to Montserrat around the right time.
- If that time spans over 19 weeks this would push the starting date to 7/1 or so. --Chris C. 08:17, 8 November 2007 (EST)
- I was on Montserrat when a plane crashed. I believe we left the next morning to go back to St. Croix. That date was 9/17. I think I went to Montserrat about mid way thorough our St. Croix training.
