The Indian National Army (Hindi: आज़ाद हिन्द फ़ौज Azad Hind Fauj), or INA is the primary military organization responsible for the territorial security and defense of the Indian Social Republic. The President of India serves as the supreme commander of the INA, which is subordinate and responsible to the government of India headed by the Prime Minister. The INA is administered by the Ministry of Defense and is composed of the Indian National Army Ground Force (INAGF), the Indian National Army Navy (INAN), and the Indian National Army Air Force (INAAF). Auxiliary services include the Indian National Army Coast Guard (INACG), the Indian National Army Paramilitary Forces (INAPF), and the Indian National Army Strategic Forces Command (INASFC).
