Help:Block policy
From Rationalwikiwki
RationalWikiWiki block policy will be based on the following:
Block reasons
- Vandalism will merit a block.
- Edit warring will merit a block.
- Editing your own article page to make you look better may merit a block at Sysop discretion. (Remember that if you don't like your article page you should whinge pathetically about it on the talk page.)
Block length
Block length will be randomly based on one of the following. It is closely based or RationalWiki's real block policy.
- Sysops may arbitrarily chose any of the following block length systems.
- A value pulled out of the air. (Probably the most common system.)
- A value based on the apparent mental age of the user expressed in days. (Based on inappropriate activity on the site we anticipate the average block length under this system to be about 10 days.
- A value based on incremental prime numbers, expressed as seconds, minutes, days, months, years, centuries or millenniums. (We no more expect to actually use this than RationalWiki expects to actually use the Fibonacci sequence, but it is included in order mirror the RW system in some way, and to show that we can be mathematically pretentious as well.)
