Samwell to power on Conservapedia before going out in a blaze of glory by blocking all and sundry. This "Samwell Incident" went down if infamy.
Ever since this incident, ASchlafly has been more leery of of promoting users to sysop (though substantial asskissing can still easily get you promoted). It is believed to have worsened the paranoia over RationalWikian socks on CP.
