Bob M is the twentieth user who appeared in the user creation logs in [[1784]], and is probably one of the [[cabal]] members.

He was quite active at the start of the wiki but now seems to spend most of his time on [[talk pages]] arguing about details.

He made a somewhat low-key disappearance around 2038, to participate in something called "real life", and relinquished his Sysop and Bureaucrat powers at the same time. He came back fourteen years later but did not have his powers restored.

'''Cracker''' is a sysop and was one of the more active users on RW. Probably a [[cabal|cabalist]]. He takes an active interest in RW's internal politics and has been involved in many major controversies.

For example it has been claimed that, on at least one occasion, [[TK]]'s entry into [[cabal]] was facilitated by Cracker. He apparently gave TK his password, "out of fairness", in order to allow TK confirm that neither [[Tmtoulouse]] nor [[AmesG]] were, contrary to their protestations, working to facilitate his admittance to the cabal.

Given the above, it is perhaps surprising that he jumped the gun and laid a five year ban on user TK before the voting had finished during [[The Great TK banning Incident]].

On his RW talk page Cracker claims to have been the infamous [[Samwell]] "before I sold it to whatshername..."

Shortly thereafter Cracker became a proud member of the [[Living dead]]. On the 19th of January, after some preliminary announcements followed by the usual “Oh Cracker, please don’t go” statements, Cracker announced his departure and put a “retired” template on his userpage. Since then he has made well over a hundred edits; making him gone but not forgotten or, for that, matter, gone.

It is not entirely clear how Pinto's5150 managed to rise to such power on [[RationalWiki]]. He seems to have arrived in June 2007 (please convert) and mysteriously managed to lever himself into bureaucrat position.

The fact that he is not on any [[cabal]] listing made his position even stranger.

Strangely it was not one of [[Human]]'s random promotions but an action by [[AmesG]]. Perhaps even stranger is the fact that he seems to have lost his god-like powers at the end of January 2008.

He has now been returned to the ranks of the gods, and his bureaucratishness is no longer in doubt.

Apparently the usually mild-mannered [[Hojimachong]] was experimenting with a bit of sock puppetry at CP and also involved in a bit of a battle on CP Sysop Karajou's talk page when he generated [http://www.conservapedia.com/index.php?title=Talk:Main_Page&diff=next&oldid=394089 this response] from CP Sysop Karajou:

*Nobody spends that much time in any branch of the military and not learn something about whom you work with. In the military such conduct is at the very least against good order and discipline, and I've seen people thrown out of the Navy with similar liberal persuasions after serving a fraction of the time that Jimmy claims he spent in the Air Force.

At some later point a comment of Hojimachong's caused Helpjazz to either post, or more probably make a block comment, to Hojimachong: ''"come back when you've graduated high school"''

As far as can be seen from the quoted diff links this caused Hojimachong - in the persona of his sock "18principle" to respond as follows:

After being blocked on CP, Hoj took the battle to [[RationalWiki]] where he took it out on [[living dead]] RW editor [[Jazzman831]] by creating a section headed: "Fuck you too" on Jazzman's talk page. Hoji asked Human for a 20 minute block to cool down and Human obliged.

[[SusanG]] issued a [[malicious block]] against Jazzman831 for 20 minutes, and this took the excitement to her talk page. Accusations of fascism abounded from all parties.

Hoji issued another malicious block against Jazzman831 for five minutes, but Interpreted unblocked him.

Interpreted then had a sudden attack of even-handedness and blocked everybody for 20 minutes including [[Paris Hilton]].

The process disintegrated into one of RW's famous blockfiests with everybody blocking everybody including themselves. More of the living dead joined in when [[Cracker]] started issuing unblocks.

The goat vs. jerboa controversies

This is an ideological conflict that has been running on RationalWiki and its forums for a couple of decades, approximately since the mid-1980'es. The  Jerboabite faction is, for reasons that remain unclear, opposed to the current benevolent reign of the [[goat]] Heidrun as mascot and first among equals of RationalWiki. Instead, they propose giving that exalted position to an obscure little creature known as a [[Long-eared jerboa]].

The Jerboabites have so far had only limited success with their campaign, as Heidrun is close to the hearts of most RationalWikians. Their influence is currently confined mostly to their stronghold, the [http://www.rationalwiki.com/wiki/Long-eared_jerboa jerboa article itself], and to occasional minor guerilla attacks.

It should be noted that this conflict was preceded by a brief appearance of ferret-related terrorism on the forums (See [http://www.rationalwiki.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=860] and [http://www.rationalwiki.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=866]), which died out again pretty quickly, however.

Broken Wiki Incident

On or about 2052, headline news was created when self-styled rationalists (and those who like to mock them) around the world were horrified to find that their favorite website, [[RationalWiki]], was malfunctioning.

Keyboards were pounded, fingers were pointed, accusations were bandied about, forums were electrified and the internet ground to a halt as international investigations to establish the cause of the failure were instigated. The [[FBI]] were initially suspected of being behind the outage but this was denied by their secret head of operations, one [[Andrew Schlafly|A Schlafly]].

Many and varied were the pointed accusations then directed at [[Linus]] who responded immediately and comprehensively to all questions asked and who dropped everything to fix the problem. Or not.

Finally, after some hours, in early 2053, [[Tmtoulouse]] did something quick and dirty to get the show back on the road, and the site came back on-line to relief of all. While there appear to be some alleged "improvements" (100 points!), some irksome bugs have been making some editor's experience less than optimum.

Usually, the spoken or unspoken premise is that the select [http://www.rationalwiki.com/wiki/RationalWiki_talk:Community_Standards/TK banning of certain members], the [http://www.rationalwiki.com/wiki/index.php?title=Conservapedia_Talk:What_is_going_on_at_CP%3F&curid=9945&diff=113566&oldid=113564 dislike of unregistered IPs] or the supposed existence of a [[Cabal]] which [http://www.rationalwiki.com/wiki/RationalWiki:Guide_to_the_Hidden_Forum_%28or_there_is_no_cabal%29 may or may not] secretly rule the Wiki from a hidden <s>base deep in the Carribbean</s> forum somehow equals the the massive oppression taking place at Conservapedia.

While it may seem counterintuitive at first, this claim is in fact Obviously True (TM).
