Setting up Policy
Okay, I have no idea what the fuck is going on. We seem to have three (four) admins that can't agree on where the hell this wiki is going. So let's try to figure this out. Everyone's welcome to put their two cents in. 20:05, 24 October 2006 (EDT)
:Well, if we make it just RR-related stuff, it'll be smaller and less confusing, but it's also more likely to just fade out of existance after a couple weeks. If we do a mini Uncyc thing, we'll get a bunch of random things with no connection to RR, but it'll be larger, encourage people to stick around and contribute, and hell, we might even drawn in outsiders. :O ~ Janus 20:09, 24 October 2006 (EDT)
::I'd still like it to be somewhat about RR, though. A general humor wiki would pretty much be reinventing the wheel. (And besides, I might go into Uncyc admin mode. That will not be pretty.) 20:27, 24 October 2006 (EDT)
:::I've been away today, sorry. Anyway. I think it should be mostly RR-related, because really, if you think about it, there is a LOT you could do up in relation to RR. If the occasional humor article pops in, I don't see a problem with it. But as long as we don't end up reinventing the wheel, as Hinoa says, I'm fine with a 75/25 mix. -- Talus 20:32, 24 October 2006 (EDT)
::::I'd even be happy with 60/40, just so long as the 40% at least follows the spirit of RR. 20:40, 24 October 2006 (EDT)
:::::That's generally what I meant, really.--Talus 20:58, 24 October 2006 (EDT)
I think as a start we should focus on getting the basic stuff down. Try to contribute by bringing up old things we remember beyond the frong page. We don't need to make up junk and go Uncyc just yet, once we've established a base on what the RR really is, then we can start throwing shit around. Lizardboy 7:39, Octobor 24 2006 (CDT)

<b>More origionality, I say!</b><br>
I don't know if we should write articles exactly like you would find on uncyclopedia, because they've got it pretty much nailed down pat. I suggest we find some other way to be funny with articles. <small>-Previous comment by User:Poppington; please sign your edits here.</small>
A proposition that will likely get me punched in the face
I have discovered a free webhosting service on the interwebs that is mySQL and PHP compatible and that has no ads. Now, you may not understand what I just said, but you might understand this: that technobabble above means that we can host this wiki "ourselves." I decided to see what it took to sign up, and discovered in addition to that, if we already have a domain name, we can host it at that domain name.

As I recall, http://rrwiki.net redirects here.

Now, what does this mean? It means that we can have more complex features, such as adding namespaces (such as Randomramblings:). It also means that, with Black Mage's agreement, we can actually have this wiki at rrwiki.net, instead of having that be a redirect to here. Also, those of us who were trying to edit the Bill Cosby link to WP on Pokémon may remember getting a very strange message involving the sysadmin claiming it was pr0n. That, and the occasional errors when creating redirects, should be removed.

Of course, this means we'll have to move the wiki. There is a way to move all the articles without losing any contributions.

But what do you all think about this? 16:24, 26 October 2006 (EDT)

So, a BETTAR wiki without having to re-create it? Show us this site you claim is better than sliced bread.~ Tew
:The hosting service is called 4000webs.com. I have to set up the site first, though, and I'd rather wait until a decision was made to do so. 19:37, 26 October 2006 (EDT)
::::For: Sounds like a good idea to me, besides, that message from the templatifying of links is quite annoying.--Dark Half 21:55, 27 October 2006 (EDT)
Kenny 4 Prez

Ratbert:

Kenny 4 Prez is a legendary thread, one of the great spam threads.

Life of the Thread
Begun by ranar simply as a tribute to his friend, Kenny Strife. Famously, the three options in the poll were "yes," "no," and "spam." Even more famously, Kenny is well-known to have himself voted for spam. The thread therefore may in fact be one of the earliest to use the concept of a "comedy option."

The thread was generally a linchpin of the socialization of RR, forming a sort of secret society. This concept was eventually solidified when Kenny began to make a comic based on the thread, using the current posters in the thread.

Being such a social thread, and having had such a long life, it is essentially no more than a gigantic threadjack.

The beginning of the end for the thread involved a drunken dare by Giboc, then-mod of RR. In a move similar to, albeit far weaker than, his early deletion of RR, Giboc agreed to lock three random threads based on numbers given to him by people in chat. K4P was one of them. Although not removed completely from the subforum, the act caused a chain of events which led to Giboc's second removal as mod. The replacement chosen was Kenny Strife himself.

As the point of the thread was to elect Kenny Strife to a position of power within an undefined scope, this action seemed to render the thread as little more than a victory party. When K4P returned to action, it began to lose steam, the conversation focusing more on Katamari Damacy than anything else.

Influences
Given how long the thread lasted, and how many people were involved, K4P served to entrench many famous posters in RR, as well as solidify many of the images of the various posters. For instance, Lordjanus's image as a violent sociopath, while innate to his being, was more clearly defined through his appointment as the Minister of Murder. It is also believed to have caused the shift within poster oh no shrubs from a simple spam artist to one of RR's greatest contributors.

In addition to being an early adopter of the comedy option, as mentioned above, K4P is possibly the first thread to use the format of nominating a poster to a political office. What is definitely known is that it was and is the only such thread to succeed, both in the fact that it lasted longer than any other has, and that it only died after it had succeeded in a certain fashion.

Kenny himself now seems somehow ashamed of the thread, and in it's dying phases often wished that he could have locked it. However, the infamous KoL forum admin, Aelfrhian, forbid him from doing so, leaving him with no choice but to hope for it's eventual death.
ArmPG

Ratbert: typo

What the holy fuck is an ArmPG?

An ArmPG is an RPG which plays out similar to an RTS. The players are usually playing commanders or gods of some sorts and command around their armys/races. The first ArmPG, Laser Wars, was made by Donut Zeke, and was mildly popular. It had some bumps over the months, most recently in October 2006, and is currently at page 8, but never really created the genre. ArmPGs grew in popularity when King ICBM made Internet War some time in January 2006, and it was even announced. Several more were made, but popularity died out a few months later. TeeKayEff coined the phrase "ArmPG" in the Games Directory thread.

Playing an ArmPG
Playing usually lies in besting your opponents moves while still staying within reasonable boundaries of technology and time. At the end of the ArmPG this tends to degenerate into madness as player's technology and their arsenal increase beyond bounds. Godmodding is frequent, but often nescessary in small doses.

Pros
*Restrictive godmodding lets you play around a bit with your creativity and have fun
*Addictive once you get the hang of it

Cons
*Restricted godmodding tends to annoy people, gets easily out of hand
*Inaccessible/unappealing to some

Some ArmPGs
*Laser Wars (Host: Donut Zeke, Winner: Unfinished}
*Internet War (Host: ICBM, Winner: TEW)
*WWII-ish Game (Host: ICBM, Winner: TeeKayEff)
:::::That's generally what I meant, really.--Talus 20:58, 24 October 2006 (EDT)
I think as a start we should focus on getting the basic stuff down. Try to contribute by bringing up old things we remember beyond the frong page. We don't need to make up junk and go Uncyc just yet, once we've established a base on what the RR really is, then we can start throwing shit around. ==A proposition that will likely get me punched in the face==

TheWalrus

Ratbert:

The Walrus (born December 4, 1989) is a famous Ramblian television personality, late night talk show host, comedian, television producer, artist, and philosopher. His first long-running hit was back in the Golden Age of RR and was the first of it's kind. He dubbed it with The Walrus before he disappeared for a time only to return later and bring back the show. All records of the show have been lost sadly in the Great Purge. His current residency is unknown though he is known to be one of the few walruses to have traveled the City of Ramble. Walrus' ironic, often absurd comedy is heavily influenced by his lords, the Beatles.

He is not to be confused with User:TheWalrus.

He recently mentioned he was leaving RR, and we haven't seen him since.

The Kingdom
The Invisible Walrus Kingdom, also known as the Kingdom, the W.K., the I.W.K. and the Sky Kingdom, is a floating island that travels mostly up above over the open seas. About the size of Iceland, the Walrus Kingdom is comprised of many nations with the shared capital of Micius.

The present-day Kingdom of the 21st century has been inhabited for at least 20,000 years by indigenous Walrus tribes. After the landbased population of Walruses discovered the Island in the 18th century, following the invention of the aircraft, they established their own colonies. The landbased tribes named the island the "New World". On December 4, 1789, at war with the land based population (noted by their lack of tusks) over fair governance, thirteen of the sixteen colonies declared their independence. In 1783, the war ended in landbased acceptance of the new nation. And handed over the other three colonies to what was becoming known as the Kingdom. Since then, the W.K. has more than doubled in size, now enveloping the full island. From then up until the Sundering the government prospered. After the Great Divid the Kingdom now consists of almost 50 individual states most sharing the same capital.

At approximately Forty Thousand square miles, 5.4% of it being water, the W.K. is undisputably the largest floating island by total area, and not so large depending on whether the word floating is included or not. It is the world's third most populous nation, with nearly 500 million people.

Walropians consider the date of the Declaration of Seperation, December 4, 1789, as the date the Sky Kingdom was founded. The first federal government was constituted under the Constitution, adopted in 1789. The Constitution was replaced by the Articles of Utilitarity, adopted in 1794. Since its establishment, the liberal democratic nature of the government has grown as suffrage has been extended to more diverse citizens. The Kingdom's military, economic, cultural, and political influence increased throughout the 20th century when planes began to fly civillians. With the collapse of the Socialist Union at the end of the Frozen War, the nation emerged as the world's sole remaining superpower. Today, it plays a major role in world affairs.

Geography

The Kingdom is the world's largest floating island by land area boasting approximately 40,000 floating square miles of land. It is surrounded on all sides by a vertical drop that varies depending on where the island hovers. For obvious reasons no nations or bodies of water border the Kingdom.

The W.K. has an extremely varied geography, particularly for such a relatively small area.

The East

About 70 to 80% of the "Eastern Seaboard" is forested, mountainous, and unsuitable for agricultural, industrial, or residential use, due to the generally steep elevations, climate, and risk of landslides caused by earthquakes, soft ground, and heavy rain. This has resulted in an extremely high population density in the habitable zones that are mainly located in coastal areas. The East is seperated from the rest of the island by a body of water that stretches multiple miles wide and ends at two spectacular falls known as the "Ends of the World".

The climate of the East is predominantly frigid but varies greatly from north to south. It's geographical features divide it into six principal climatic zones.

The northernmost zone has a temperate climate with long, cold winters and cool summers. Precipitation is not heavy, but the islands usually develop deep snow banks in the winter.

The region's west coast often has heavy snowfall in Winter. During the summer, the region is cooler than the "End of the World", though it sometimes experiences extremely hot temperatures, due to wind phenomena.

The central highland is a typical inland climate, with large temperature differences between summer and winter, and between day and night. Precipitation is light.

The Inland Sea is a great valley formed by the two tallest mountains of the island. The mountains shelter the zone from the seasonal winds, bringing mild weather throughout the year.

The Drop is the east coast, it experiences cold winters with little snowfall and hot, humid summers due to the southeast seasonal wind.

Southeast Islands found drifting seperate from the Invisible Kingdom have a subtropical climate, with warm winters and hot summers. Precipitation is very heavy, especially during the rainy season. Rain here can sometimes be considered as heavy as a typhoon.

The main rainy season begins in early May in the south and the stationary rain front responsible for this gradually works its way north until it dissipates in the north before reaching the top of the Drop in late July.

Middle Walropia

Central Walropia is a coastal plain which is widest in the south and narrower in the north. The coastal plain does not exist much further north of Micius. In the extreme southeast, there is a great grove of ecologically unique Everglades.

Beyond the coastal plain, rolling hills stretch to a range of Mountains, which rise above 6,000 feet. From the west slope of the range, the Interior Plains of the Midwest are relatively flat and are the location of the Great Lakes as well as the Pinniped River, the world's 5th longest river system. West of the River, the Interior Plains slope uphill and blend into the vast and often featureless Great Plains of the West.

The West

The abrupt rise of the Lapidarian Mountains, at the western edge of the Great Plains, extends north to south across the floating countryside, reaching altitudes at times over 14,000 feet. In the past, the Lapidarian Mountains had a higher level of volcanic activity; nowadays, the range only has no active volcanoes. Dozens of high mountain ranges, salt flats such as the Starkville Salt Flats, and valleys are found in the Great Basin region located west of the Lapidarian and east of the Remmington Range, which also has deep chasms, including the fabled Diamond River. At the southwestern end of the Great Basin, Death Valley lies 282 feet below sea level. A large igneous province known as the Devil's Woods was shaped by one of the largest flood basalts on Earth. It is marked by dark black rocks. Surrounding the Four Corners region lies the Hayes Plateau, named after the Hayes River, which flows through it. The Plateau is generally high in elevation, has highly eroded sandstone, and the soil is a blood red in some locations. Many national parks, such as the Golden Arches, Goeckel Canyon and Great Canyon are in the area. West of the Great Basin, the Remmington mountain range has Mount Elijah, the highest peak in the West.

The North
The North is a wasteland of snow that stretched endlessly into the distance. That is until you reach the edge.

Walropia's Government

Walropia has a democratic/utalitarian based, three branched government in which the average citizen holds a great deal of power.

The Democratic Branch - This Branch is comprised of two bodies, the general populace and the senate. The senate is comprised of a number of senators in direct corrolation with the population of Walropia. It can be up to one senator per 500,000 persons at a time. The senate writes new legislation and challenges the old, while the general populace votes on each item of legislation brought up by the senate individually. A citizen has the right to challenge legislation by taking it up with local government officials known as house representatives. The house representatives duties are to bring to the senate worthy pieces of legislation or reasonable challenges to the current laws.

The Executive Branch - The King (it is referred to always as King never as Queen, no matter which gender the King may be) is nominated by the senate and the citizens vote him into office via a voluntary popular vote. At least ten candidates must be nominated by the senate. The King serves in office until the senate sees him/her unfit to serve longer and votes the King out of office. The King has the power to write his/her own legislation though this occurs only rarely and has the power to veto legislation proposed by the senate though this occurs even more rarely. A vetoed piece of legislation may still be voted on by the general populace with a 7/10 vote in the Senate. The King is the ceremonial head of the military and police forces.

The Judicial Branch - The Supreme Court largely functions as it does within the contemporary world, it's duty is to interperet the law. The members of the Supreme Court are elected in the same manner as the executive. Court sessions contain the mix one might find in a contemporary court house except that the judge acts as more of a moderator than anything else. Every criminal is assured the right to fair trial.

Currency

The toof is the form of currency employed about the floating island. They are rather peculiar in that they are made from the ivory found in a Walrus's tusk. When a walrus ages past being a minor (sixteen years of age) they are given the choice to donate their tusks posthumously much like a human may donate their body to science. The Toof is shaped like those oval coins that are made from pennies when you put them in the machines, they have a portrait and name of their previous "owner" engraved in them. The company that produces and handles the Toof is known only as Toof Inc. Cooincidentally, Toof Inc. is also the only bank in the Kingdom. A slang term thats evolved due to the form of currency is "Toofy" meaning wealthy or rich, one might even go as far as describing someone as the "Toofiest" or the richest. For simplicity the prices in the game will roughly translate to those of the American Dollar. And just a note: It isn't a very easy currency to inflate...

Evolution of The Walrus
Ramale odobenus

Over a vast amount of time many changes occurred to this species. It’s tusks disappeared, it lost weight, and lost it’s whiskers and nose. Over time it even grew arms and legs. It changed like this because of the process of evolution. Evolution is a procedure used by a species to adapt to it’s environment over long periods of time. The original hypothesis on how evolution worked was done by Chevalier de Lamarck. His theory was that adaptation was caused by a change in the environment, which causes changes in the needs of organisms living in that environment. This alteration causes modifications in their behavior and he believed that altered behavior lead to greater or lesser use of a given trait; use would cause the trait to develop over several generations, whereas disuse would cause it to disappear. Darwin’s theory in a nutshell: as genetic mutations occur within an organism's genetic code, the helpful mutations are kept because they aid in the organisms survival, a process known as "natural selection." These beneficial mutations are passed generation to generation and over time, these beneficial mutations add up and the result is a completely different organism (not a variation of the original, but an entirely new creature). Darwin’s theory is the most widely accepted theory of evolution today.

Ramale bifiduscauda

After a volcanic eruption there was a climate change and much of the Ramale odobenus’s natural habitat was diminished. The tail mutated to that of the split tail in order to swim faster in its new environment and catch prey in its new surroundings. The specie’s physical structure also changed in order for it to have increased flexibility, so that it could dodge faster around the volcanic rocks it’s prey now hid in.

Ramale ambulo

After more volcanic activity the temperature continued to rise and soon there were only lakes left of their ocean in the sky. The Ramale bifiduscauda’s tail continued to split for limited mobility on land. Their prey’s population was also heavily devastated and the bifiduscauda began to change their diet to that of the shrubs in the area. The Walrus’s tusks and whiskers began to shrink away because of this diet change.

Ramale careodens

Eventually the whiskers and tusks were completely lost to the species. Soon their new food supply would become on the verge of extinction due to the Ramale’s population boom. However, their legs and arms became more developed and they began to catch small prey. Many of the species were lost during this period of time though.

Ramale bullae

The species began to hunt larger prey and they began using simple tools like seal clubs and sporks. It is believed the increase in knowledge lead to further development of a head, so that it could store more memory (this of course was before everyone’s mind was expanded via computer chip so that one could quest for infinite knowledge if one wasn’t lazy). The legs and arms of the species lengthened, which has been credited to a small change in the climate and the pursuit of larger prey.

Ramale praestantiae

Eventually meat became a sort of currency in an informal bartering system and many other leaps and bounds in various fields occured (such as the continuum transfunctioner). Society had a golden age, but it was not to last. After the invention of the disease in the box many great minds were lost. Evolution attempted to halt this plague by removing their noses, but it proved only slightly effective.

Ramale faciesei

Eventually there was someone who mutated an immunity to the disease though he was not physically strong or athletically capable. The descendants of this stick man all were thin, gullible and weak, but the species managed to survive.

The final outcome of the evolution was the Ramale faciesei. Though it was more physically weak then the Ramale praestantiae, it had developed an immunity to the deadly disease and outlived it’s superior.

Latenight
The show "Latenight with the Walrus" was the Walrus' first big hit on Rambling Television, though he did have other spin offs none were as successful as the instant hit where the Walrus himself would pull random audience members out of the crowd, which he had pulled off randomly off of the streets and intervied them on the spot. Over time the show has grown more refined and the lovable Cast of Latenight with The Walrus has diminished. Though the show has now become the most watched LateNight program on air it is to be recognised that it is, in fact, the only show on late at night. Many others have tried to create their own interview shows like this (one even a takeover of his own set, see the Shrubbery Bomber), but none have as yet topped it's ratings. The show itself is run between 10pm and 4am on a week-daily basis. Though the show has grown he sticks to tradition and draws his interviewees from the odd, every day citizens of the City of Ramble.

Quest to Escape
Walrus claims heritage to numerous winners of the fabled Quest to Escape tourney. However his claims, like the vast majority of them, fall on deaf ears as he cannot prove it just as he cannot prove the Invisible Walrus Kingdom's existence. It is not disputed that Walrus' have participated in the fabled tourney, that much is known, it is more a dispute over whether one has won or not.

Mr. Vs Ms. RR
Walrus ran the original Mr. Vs Ms. RR, which was originally a parody of the competition ran in the ROF. The first year it was ran (and thus far the last) the winners of the competition were the females. More specifically this made Chaly the overall winner and the winner of the females. Oh_No_Shrubs was declared winner of the men.

Walrus made an attempt at running the competition again once this year (2006) so far, however he did not carry through as their were complaints on the equality of contestant's genders. Some have gone as far to suggest it be remade this year as Mr/Ms RR or even to include everyone who applies and yet maintain some balance somehow. Though everyone seems to disagree no one seems to add anything to the argument and the competition lies dead for the moment.
Smiley Thread Bandwagon

Ratbert:

The Smiley Thread Bandwagon was a bandwagon with Smilies as a topic name. Effectively half of RR was sanctioned because of this.

The Victims
Long Sanction (~2 wks)
*Smacktard
*ratbert
*Barnacle_Ed
*I_eat_trees
*SPNirology
*Zerofive1
*magesx
*birdofprey161
*Shunyata

Short Sanction (7-10 days)
*Ratclaw
*lordjanus
*Strong Bad's Fan
*thekillerfroggy?
*Kazer
*Cantryboy

The Crisis
The Smiley bandwagon of '06 is widely considered to be the most influential incident of RR's recent history. Some RRians felt it would be most humorous to create a series of threads headed with nothing but chat text smileys. This created mass confusion and chaos amongst the other residents. Many celebrated in their rebellion and gallivanted about in their own smiley faced domains declaring their free will and rebellious spirit, Others feared for their safety and Johnsons. Soon after, the smackdown commenced.

The Smackdown
The mods of RR responded with mass sanctioning and a couple dozen postcount --'s to boot. The forum admin, Aelfrhian, called the majority of RRers "pathetic children" and was totally pissed that her mods apparently have to babysit RR all the damn time. The citizens of RR recovered quickly and have so far stayed within the guidelines put down by their mods and admins. Many consider Aelf's actions in this case to be a rather extreme punishment for the actions that prompted it. Some believe the harsh measures were taken because Sauceror was going on vacation, and therefore the "troublemakers" of RR were banned in order to keep things quiet while she was gone. It should be noted that this is just a crackpot theory.

Attempts to Evade Sanctioning
One or two posters who had participated in the bandwagon craftily changed the title and content of their threads before the mods came, a tactic which had served them well in past bandwagons. One of these posters was Lord Janus, who was actually not banned for participating in the bandwagon, but for "13+ spam posts" that now only exist in one of two places; Aelf's mind, or the trash forum. Both are equally likely, but neither can be proved. The leason to be learned here is that even if you cover your tracks, you can still get tossed in the cooler for a week if you make a few posts in a thread with Mr. Woe as it's title.

Ratbert:

Overview
The Corrupt Wish game, created by a lazy guest, involves one poster making a wish which the next poster will grant. However, the granted wish will be corrupted. It was originally started in August 2004, and remains alive to this day.

Corrupt Wish is one of the few threads RR is allowed to necro if the game dies down, and has been a major source of fun for years.

Example of Game
V: ...Granted. Your eyes bleed from the amount you get. I wish for nothing.
A: You have nothing. (This includes air. You die of suffocation.) I wish for a dollar.
B: Granted. But it's a counterfeit bill, and you are arrested. I wish for a cure to AIDS.
Q: Granted. The cure for AIDS happens to give the patient cancer instead. I wish for...

Notable Notes
The idea of wishes gone wrong is not original to the RR thread; such a concept features often in short stories and books. The Tale of the Monkey's Paw and the movie series titled Wishmaster are two good examples of this style of granting wishes while simultaneously twisting the outcomes to something horrible.

Ratbert:

Um, what?

Ratclaw is a poster on the forums of loathing, in particular Random Ramblings. It has been calculated that around 96.18 percent of his posts are located in the RR, as of October 22, 2006. His greatest passion is fire and explosions, and definitely firey explosions.

Ratclaw is currently watching a large skyscraper go up in New York. He says it will be his greatest pyratic feat ever, whatever that means.

Interesting Facts
Ratclaw is a math nerd. Stupid people hate him, and the feeling is mutual. Because stupid branches out into many fields, Ratclaw hates himself on many levels, and himself hates Ratclaw back.

Somehow related to the math nerd aspect, Ratclaw has memorized more pi than 99.99% of people on earth have. This is, of course, incredibly useless in real life, but Ratclaw is still proud of this.

Ratclaw made the wrong decision of fighting Janus over cheese when he joined the forums. Much blood was spilled. Another similar event happened which involved Ratclaw being run over by a motorcycle. Ratclaw is still alive, despite having his stomach ripped open.

Life History
On the day Ratclaw was born, a meteor struck Lipia-7 in the Abell 1835 IR1916 galaxy.

On his thirteenth birthday, a mudhut in eastern Yemen was hit by a stray bullet.

Ratclaw was diagnosed insane by some guy who claimed to be a psychologist, and again by a self-proclaimed "therapist". Pssh.

Forum History
Immediately after he joined, Ratclaw created a topic related to vomit and diarrhea. This did not bode well with anyone, and the thread was deleted. Ratclaw proceeded to spend the next few months of his life in baseless lies, having much fun and boosting his postcount greatly. After that was locked and Ratclaw's picket signs and torches were taken away, Ratclaw finally turned to the actual forums. He has remained there ever since, and declares himself "the generic RRer". He explains this as "I count as a hundred people in these forums. Three of them are seasoned posters, twelve of them are spammers, six of them have ADHD, four of them are mentally retarded, one of them is brilliant, many of them are some of each, and the rest are average. I post for all of them. Usually they have nothing to say."
The microwave is a common tool used in everyday fixin-ups. It first came into use when Doppleplex reccomended that a fellow RRer fix a moistened cellphone by applying the microwave. What happened after was RR history.

Most RRers find allusions to the incident (incesscently saying in a thread "Have you tried the microwave?") annoying nowadays, and it is currently one of the Seven Deadly Phrases banned from use during the Saucerror Regime.
