Proposer's summary and declarations
I propose transmuting 101 with the intention of re-vamping the "new game" conditions to allow for new games to begin in a wiki-friendly format in the future. Wooble 17:51, 31 March 2007 (EST)
I suggest that debate run through April 5. Wooble 22:07, 31 March 2007 (EST)
Debate
Can you expound? --Tucana25 20:55, 31 March 2007 (EST)
- As discussed in Game-direction, I think that as the rules currently stand, a win based on unplayability would create a crisis situation since only a "round" would end, but it would be impossible to start a new round. There is the option, of course, of starting a completely new game, but this would start off with a set of rules which isn't optimized for online play, requiring a bunch of rule changes just to get the game into a somewhat playable initial state. I think it would be preferable to set up such a playable initial state in the current rules, and fix it so the game can continue indefinitely. 101 stands in the way, and while I think there should be serious debate before it's actually amended to select a new initial ruleset, it's clear that transmuting it first will be a necessary step so I decided to be bold and propose it.
