  • Alexandra Park: Little Egret high over Wood Green Res @ 7.30pm(104th for year)(J.Murray)
  • Dagenham Chase LNR: Osprey between 2.30- 2.35pm battling against strong winds. This is the 1st confirmed record at the site. It was also seen at Rainham Marshes RSPB by Howard Vaughan et al for 15 mins. Also Juv Wood Sandpiper until 5.40pm at least, 1 Green Sandpiper, 1 Greenshank, 1 Shoveler, 3 Teal, 3 Ruddy Duck 2M 1F, 1 Willow Warbler and a Hobby on 3 occasions. (Vince Halley-Frame ).
  • Walthamstow Reservoirs (N side only): 2 Dunlin, 5 Little Egrets, 3 Com Sands, 3 Shoveler, 20 Swifts (David Callahan).

  • Rainham Marshes RSPB: Hobby, 2 juv/imm Wheatears, Gbbgull, 2 Oystercatchers, Stonechat, 10+ Teal, and up to 6 distant probable YLGulls Thameside. Also, 9 Whimbrel, 8 Greenshanks, 2 Common Sands, Black-tailed Godwit reported by other, luckier souls. Best sighting was of a probable Serotine or Leisler's Bat hawking along one of the ditches at 1230! Description sent in to local recorder...   • Dagenham Chase LNR: Moulting Male Common Redstart again on the Dick Marrable bee garden fence at 5.20 pm. Also 4 Green Sandpipers, 1 Greenshank and 1 Grey Wagtail on the Slack ( Vince Halley-Frame ).
