The Director of Public Prosecutions Act is a Liberalian Law

Clause One The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (hereby referred to as the DPP) is to be created within the Ministry of Justice.

Clause Two It is to be the sole responsibility of the DPP to charge any members of Liberalia who have broken any Liberalian laws. No other member of the region may charge another member.

Clause Three Any member of Liberalia may send a file to the office of the DPP containing evidence of law-breaking. It is the responsibility of the DPP to investigate evidence brought before him/her.

Clause Four The DPP is to be appointed by the sitting Prime Minister with a vote of approval from Parliament. A simple majority is needed to approve a DPP.

Clause Five The Parliament of Liberalia may remove a DPP from office with a 2/3 vote of no-confidence in the office of the DPP. The DPP may also be removed from office by the Prime Minister.
