Triana is the Provincial Capital of the Pelnas region of Carops, the most Northern area of the Kingdom of Carops. It has a population of approximately 245,000 at the most recent census count. Triana has one of Carops' best-preserved ancient city centres, with many notable historical monuments. Traditionally, it has been a centre of the Porthin people, who continue to make up around 20% of the city's population to this day.

Triana was founded during the Pelsai period as Trinaraga, the administrative centre of the local area. It was amongst the first areas of Carops to be taken by the Lindite forces invading the country, and therefore features perhaps the highest Lindite presence of any city in Carops. The city is famous for its ducks, which are the town's symbol, as well as its lace-making industry.
