The Kennell-Ellis Studio Building (1946), located at 1280 Willamette Street, is an excellent example of Moderne style commercial architecture. Its emphasis on horizontal lines and curves in the balcony, overhangs, and handrail give it a streamlined look popular during the early automobile age.
