Built in 1948 by the Springfield High graduating class, this rock sits in a clearing at the top of Willamette Heights. The triangle with three S's on it originally had a light on top. It was last repainted in 1998, when the high school celebrated its 100th anniversary. The rock in its pristine state is clean concrete with a blue S.
