Returning from the war, Mr. Horn was married in [[1866]] to [[Horn, Nancy Ann Pope|Nancy Ann Pope]]. In [[1887]] they came to [[Lane County]], taking a homestead near [[Noti]], where they lived for twenty years.  They moved to [[Elmira]] where Nancy Ann died on [[September 25]]th, [[1926]]. She was buried in [[Inman Cemetery]].

James W. Horn was born in Ohio on December 11, 1838, served in the Civil War and was in several battles, including that of Gettysburg and was later in Belle Isle prison.

Returning from the war, Mr. Horn was married in 1866 to Nancy Ann Pope. In 1887 they came to Lane County, taking a homestead near Noti, where they lived for twenty years. They moved to Elmira where Nancy Ann died on September 25th, 1926. He was buried in Inman Cemetery near his wife.

James and Nancy were blessed with three sons: John C, of Elmira, Marion of Veneta, and Harvey of Noti.
