Amos Yoder was born in Danvers, Illinois on [[August 16]], [[1871]] to Jonathn and Mary Yoder (from Germany). He was married to Mary Maxwell Yoder and lived in [[Elmira]]. It was there he died on [[July 18]], [[1945]] with his wife reporting the death. He was taken to A.W. Larsen funeral home and buried in [[Inman Cemetery]].
