When the labor unions started coming in Elvin reported Dad for not being union so Dad lost a lot of work. .. Dad's last truck was a 1935 Ford, but by then the county and state had their own trucks. In 1937 or 1938 he and Kenny [son] worked on the tunnel on Highway 58. |
