5-Star Soaring Eagle (Van Dam and Swagger) were the first two superstar's to have been assigned a brand in the GWF Brand Extension.
Global Wrestling Federation (also known GWF), currently promotes its core business of efed professional wrestling through two "brands" named after their two major television shows Raw and Thunder. In 2012, The brand extension took effect with Kanyon being the General manager of Raw, and McDermott being the General Manager of Thunder.
