The Shield's Final Chapter is a professional wrestling show and IWE Network event, produced by IWE for their Raw and SmackDown brands. It will take place on April 21, 2019, at TaxSlayer Center in Moline, Illinois.

Storylines

The card is composed of matches that results from scripted storylines, where wrestlers portrayed villains, heroes, or less distinguishable characters in scripted events that build tension and culminated in a wrestling match or series of matches, with results predetermined by IWE's writers on the Raw and SmackDown brands. Storylines are produced on IWE's weekly television shows, Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live.

On January 29, 2019, IWE confirmed that Dean Ambrose had decided to not renew his contract that expired in April. The following month, Roman Reigns, who took time off in October 2018 due to leukemia, returned and he, Seth Rollins, and Ambrose reunited The Shield for a match at Fastlane, where they defeated the team of Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre. Although this was promoted as The Shield's final match together, one further match was scheduled for a special event called The Shield's Final Chapter, featuring both The Shield's and Ambrose's last match in IWE.
