On February 23, 2014 at No Chance in Hell, Richards and Edwards defeated the Tag Team Champions Team Hell Yes (Kane and Daniel Bryan) to win the CW Tag Team Championships for the first time in their Championship Wrestling career. The Wolves had a chance to enter the Take Your Pick 10-Man Ladder match at Ring of Champions I, but were unsuccessful in doing so. On March 21, 2014 at Shock, Davey Richards defeated Nigel McGuinness.
