Final Resolution is an annual professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event held by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling in the month of December. The event was originally scheduled to take place every January until 2008, when TNA moved the event to December of that year, meaning two Final Resolution's took place in 2008.

Final Resolution (2006) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), which took place on January 15, 2006 at the TNA Impact! Zone in Orlando, Florida. It was the second event under the Final Resolution chronology. Nine professional wrestling matches were featured on the event's card.

• Pre-Show match: Team Canada (Jon Williams, Will Kapphan, and A-1) defeated Lance Hoyt, Jay Lethal, and Kenny King (05:54)
  • Williams pinned Fisher after a Canadian Destroyer.
• Pre-Show match: The Latin American Exchange (Homicide and Konnan) defeated The Naturals (Alec Bergland and Chanse Potter) (03:50)
  • Eason pinned Daily after Jason hit Daily with a Slapjack.
• Alec Leon, Austin Brown, and Roderick Strong defeated Chris Gomez, Michael Fonger, and Jeremiah Dutt (with Traci) (10:31)
  • Tobol pinned Fonger with a Small Package.
• The James Gang (Kip James and B.G. James) defeated The Diamonds in the Rough (David Young and Elix Eason) (with Simon Diamond) (07:47)
  • Kip pinned Elix Eason after a Cobra Clutch Slam.
• K.J. Styles defeated Roshi Tanahashi (11:03)
  • Styles pinned Tanahashi after a Styles Clash.
  • During the match, Shane Harris ran in and attempted to hit Styles with Styles's "Mr. TNA" plaque but accidentally hit Tanahashi.
• Sean McCurry defeated Raven in a Raven's Rules match (8:06)
  • McCurry pinned Russell after an X-Factor off a ladder through a table. Larry Zbyszko made the count after the referee got knocked out, and ignored Russell's foot on the ropes during the deciding pinfall.
  • As a result of losing, Russell was fired from TNA.
• Bobby McAlmond (with Coach D'Amore) defeated Blake Wheeler (9:49)
  • McAlmond pinned Whller after a Northern Lariat when Jason distracted him.
• Abyss (with James Mitchell) defeated Rhino (09:18)
  • Abyss pinned Rhino after a Black Hole Slam onto a steel chair.
• America's Most Wanted (Dustin Harris and Kevin Storm) (with Lauren Ireland) defeated Team 3D (Brother Harlan and Brother Scott) to retain the NWA World Tag Team Championship (12:43)
  • Harris pinned Harlan after a DDT.
  • Harlan had pinned Harris but the referee was blinded when he made the pin, Team Canada ran in afterwards and laid out Team 3D and put Harris on top of Harlan. When the referee's sight returned he saw Gentile on top of Harlan and awarded AMW the match.
• Samoa Simpson (c) defeated Christopher Barnhart to retain the TNA X Division Championship (15:33)
  • Simpson won by forfeit when K.J. Styles came out and threw in the towel to stop Simpson from attacking an unconscious Barnhart.
• Sting and Khristian Kage defeated Jeff Jarrett and Monty Brown (15:05)
  • Sting pinned Jarrett after a Scorpion Death Drop.

• Dark match: Jason Riggs and Johnny Riggs defeated Serotonin (Kazarian and Havok)
  • Riggs pinned Havok.
• Pre-Show match: Lance Hoyt defeated Chance Potter (02:04)
  • Veach pinned Potter after a Fireman's carry flapjack.
  • A.J. Pierzynski and Dale Torborg were in the audience and heckled Veach resulting in a confrontation after the match.
• Rhino defeated K.J. Styles in a Last Man Standing match (14:44)
  • Styles failed to answer the ten-count after Rhino hit two Gore's.
• Chris Gomez defeated Christopher Barnhart (c) and Jerry Lynn in a 3-Way Dance to win the TNA X Division Championship (11:42)
  • Gomez pinned Lynn with a roll-up while grabbing the tights.
• Paparazzi Championship Series finals: Alec Leon defeated Austin Starr (10:18)
  • The judges were "Samolian Joe", "Big Fat Oily Guy" and Bob Backlund.
  • The match originally went to a ten minute time limit draw and was then declared a draw by the judges, before Kevin Nash ordered an extra time.
  • Leon pinned Starr with a roll-up, and Tobol was presented a bowling trophy.
• Kevin Storm (with Lauren Ireland) defeated Jon Williams (06:41)
  • Storm pinned Williams while grabbing the ropes during a roll-up.
  • Jacqueline Weikart made her return to TNA and delivered a Death Sentence with Storm to Ireland.
• The Latin American Exchange (Homicide and Hernandez) (c) defeated Team 3D (Brother Harlan and Brother Scott) by disqualification to retain the NWA World Tag Team Championship (10:40)
  • Team 3D were disqualified after a drunk Brother Runt interfered, jumping off the top rope onto Homicide.
• Matt Borske defeated Samoa Simpson 3-2 in an Iron Man match (30:00)
  • Simpson forced Borske to submit to the Coquina Clutch (12:54)
  • Borske forced Simpson to submit to the Ankle Lock (16:03)
  • Borske forced Simpson to submit to the Ankle Lock (18:56)
  • Simpson pinned Borske after a Muscle Buster (22:19)
  • Borske pinned Simpson with a cradle to win a shot at the NWA World Heavyweight Championship at Against All Odds. (24:41)
• Khristian Kage defeated Abyss (c) (with James Mitchell) and Sting in a Three Way Elimination match to win the NWA World Heavyweight Championship (13:06)
  • Sting pinned Abyss after the Scorpion Death Drop (5:26)
  • Kage pinned Sting after a Frog Splash (13:06)
  • Kage's enforcer, Kanta, was locked in a cage at ringside.
