The '''World War match''' is a [[Professional Wrestling (WIW)|professional wrestling]] match based on the classic [[Battle Royal (professional wrestling)|Battle Royal]] match in which a number of wrestlers (traditionally 30) aim at eliminating their competitors by tossing them over the top rope, with both feet touching the floor. The match is typically the main event of [[World Incorporated Wrestling|WIW]]'s January pay-per-view event known as the [[WIW World War|World War]]. The winner of the event is the last wrestler remaining after all others have been eliminated. According to various former WIW superstars, who have worked for WIW throughout the years and participated in World Rumbles, participants may learn their eliminations by knowing the two wrestlers who are eliminated before them and which wrestlers are entering the World War before and after their elimination. According to other superstars, who worked for WIW in the years, wrestlers are given a list of entry numbers and eliminations and are supposed to build the match from there.
