At the beginning of 2024, IWE began airing short vignettes at live events and during commercial breaks of televised shows, while [[QR code|QR codes]] were also hidden in various locations on episodes of ''Raw'' and ''SmackDown''. Each code led to websites containing imagery, minigames, and riddles that vaguely referenced the return of Uncle Howdy.

At the end of the June 17, 2024, episode of ''[[IWE Raw|Raw]],'' The Wyatt Sicks made their debut. They attacked numerous IWE backstage staff, as well as wrestler [[Jacob Corcoran|Chad Gable]].
