On the August 15 episode of Raw, Serrano and Hensen defeated IWE Tag Team Champions [[David Mahrt]] and [[Kooper McAlmond]] in a non-title match to become #1 contenders to the tag team belts. On the August 22 episode of Raw, Serrano and Hensen beat Mahrt and McAlmond to win their first [[IWE Tag Team Championship]] together. On the August 29 edition of ''Raw'', the duo was officially named "Air Boom", and they had their first successful title defense when they defeated Mahrt and McAlmond in a rematch.
