After subsequently purchasing the assets of XCW, [[IWE|International Wrestling Entertainment]] relaunched the Xtreme Championship Wrestling franchise as a [[IWE Brand Extension|IWE brand]] from June 2006 until February 2010 to complement their existing [[IWE Raw|Raw]] and [[IWE SmackDown|SmackDown]] brands.
