		+	The main event of the night was two best friends and pioneers of the X Division competing as K.J. Styles went head to head with Christopher Barnhart. Styles and Barnhart set the pace in the beginning stages, putting on a technical exhibition and contending in a series of chain wrestling executions. They also proved to know each other well by anticipating particular moves in certain situations. There were several near falls and counters seen in the match, and in the early portion, Styles had control and continuously worked on the left arm of Barnhart. Gradually, Barnhart changed his game plan when Styles exited the ring to take a breather, and instead of waiting on him to completely face his direction, launched out on Styles with a [[Suicide Dive\|suicide dive]] just as he spun around, and followed up with a second when Styles got to a vertical base. Thereafter, the momentum went to Barnhart, who put Styles in the ring and hit Back Suplexes and other moves to affect his neck and carry out his plan of working over that area on Styles. It wasn't until Barnhart was going to conduct a move off the ropes that Styles turned the match back in his favor, pushing Barnhart off and landing a [[Diving Crossbody\|slingshot crossbody]] onto him. However, Styles gained control briefly until his [[Flying Forearm Smash\|flying forearm smash]] attempt backfired when Barnhart knocked him off the ropes to the outside. Back in the ring, as Styles fought back, Barnhart applied the [[Koji Clutch]] and Styles was able to get the rope break. Down to the end of the match, Styles and Barnhart continued to trade offense and countered multiple times including each others signature moves, but delivered their finishing moves which only led to two counts during pins. Barnhart also let his frustration get the better of him. At the very end, while both were on the top rope, Styles backdropped Barnhart, who attempted the [[Facebuster#Lifting double underhook facebuster\|Angel's Wings]] from that height, and Styles hit the [[K.J. Styles#In wrestling\|Spiral Tap]], and covered for the victory.

		+	The following match prior to the main event was Abyss defending the TNA X Division Championship as he faced Brian Woods. Woods refused to shy away from the odds in front of him, kicking at Abyss, who was not phased in the least, in the beginning of the match. As the much bigger man, Abyss dominated the early portion of the bout, hitting and beating on Woods, though Woods tried his best to put up a fight. Abyss got distracted looking at his book for inspiration on ''Sun Tzu'''s Art of War philosophy and this was costly when Woods landed a punch that caused him to bleed from the eyebrow. Woods used his fast pace to take it to Abyss until Abyss cut him off with the [[Backbreaker#Argentine backbreaker rack\|Shock Treatment]]. Woods, however, got a shoulder up during the ensuing pinfall. Abyss argued with referee [[Earl Hebner]], who then was knocked unconscious when Abyss whipped Woods to the ring corner as Woods prevented a collision with Hebner, but moved out the way when Abyss stormed in for body contact. Woods connected with a [[Shiranui\|Sliced Bread #2]] and pinned Abyss, but there was no referee in sight. Nearing the end of the match, Eric Bischoff came down to the ring to argue with Woods, who laid him out from a punch. Immortal members [[Phillip Hunter\|Gunner]], [[Bully Harlan]] and [[Scott Hunter]] came out next to beat down Woods. Fellow X Division members Generation Me, Shark Boy and Amazing Red tried to make the save, but Immortal took care of them. Moreover, further back up arrived in Austin Brown, Will Kapphan, Shane Harris, Douglas Williams, Robbie R, and Alec Leon to drive Immortal out. In the final moments, Woods went for a move off the top rope, Abyss countered and went in for the kill with a [[Chokeslam\|chokeslam]] but Woods reversed it and rolled Abyss up. At first there was no referee, but then a revived Hebner proceeded to perform a three count as Kendrick won his first X Division Championship. After the match, X Division stars helped Kendrick celebrate the moment while red confetti descended from the rafters and Eric Bischoff and Immortal were upset. Abyss also appeared to have a fallout with Bully Harlan.
