Angle eventually gained control in the match by attacking Undertaker's leg and working on it. Undertaker tried to perform a [[Chokeslam\|chokeslam]] on Angle but Angle recovered it by attempting to perform a submission maneuver on Undertaker's leg. Triple K tapped out but the match could not end in a submission, so Jericho did not release the hold. As a result, Jericho applied the Walls of Jericho on Matteson, allowing Triple K to hit Jericho with a [[Sledgehammer\|sledgehammer]]. Jericho eventually grabbed the sledgehammer and attacked Triple K in the ribs until both of them fell into a table. Triple K [[Suxplex\|suplex]]ed Jericho into it and both men fell down. Triple K got up at a count of 9 while Jericho stayed down for a 10 count. As a result, Triple K won.
