In .co.uk a tsunami isle is deleted at about 2-3 am (UTC) the day it became unnowned unless there is a fleet heading to or from it, even a transport. As soon as no ships are traveling to or from it it is deleted. In .com at the moment this doe not seem to be the case and will stay around until someone takes them. What is a Tsunami

Tsunamis are the biggest event that happens in game, and one of the things that makes Inselkampf unique. Unlike say Travian (a similar game but based around villages,]] where the land is the land and you can 'colonise' anywhere, Inselkampf has isles of which there are a 'finite' number.

The tsunami is somthing like IK fokelore and not an exact science ... it has been said before that knowledge of the tsunami is what seperates 'noobs' from other players.

During a tsunami event, islands of inactive players become 'unnowned' and therefore become colonisable. If these players had colonies they also become 'unnowned'. During tsunami events, islands of inactives become 'unowned'.

Process

Inactive players (usually after a month or 30 days of not logging in) are deleted and their islands become colonisable by all. When islands become unnowned, all players have only a few hours to capture the isle.

In .co.uk a tsunami isle is deleted at about 2-3 am (UTC) the day it became unnowned unless there is a fleet heading to or from it, even a transport. As soon as no ships are traveling to or from it it is deleted. In .com at the moment this is also the case, with a lag of a few hours. Their Army and Ships remain on the ilses and to colonise a player will need to clear ALL troops and get the main house to level 1.

Daily tsunamis happen when a ocean has less then 500 colonys. The game creates unruled isles which had no previous owner to balance the amount of colonies and main isles.

Tsunamis seem to accur between 11pm and 1am(UTC).

How to benefit

  • Be online when they happen.
  • Spy the isle you want
  • Clear of it ALL defences and get the main house to lvl one
  • Send colo ships,
  • be prepared to stay up until late

Extra Tsunami Advice

When you have several inactive farms, make sure you check to see they have become unowned, even if you don't have a colo ship - this stops you losing your fleet when someone has dumped a load of stoners on their new colony.
