How to take over an uninhabited island

  1. Build colony ship
  2. Make sure you have at least 10 Large Warships and 50 Spearfighters.
  3. Send coloship plus the 10 LWSs and the SFs to attack the target island.

Note: If the isle is unruled but has been ruled in the past before you can take the isle you must knock down the Main House to Level 1 and destroy all armies and fleets on the island. Your attacking fleet with the coloship must be large enough to beat the defensive capacity of any Stone Wall which is remaining.

How to plunder

  1. Click on the harbour (from the 'show' screen, rather than the 'Main House' screen)
  2. Type in the coordinates for the island of choice
  3. Select a number of ships desired - you want Warships for the attack, and Merchant ships to carry off your Pirate booty!
  4. Click Attack - this will go to a page where armies can be placed on board and a plundering order can be made - you get to decide in which order they should take resources to fill up your Merchant ships.

Notes

  • A plundering order can only be made if there are merchant ships in the attack.
  • Army units can only be placed on warships (5 per Large Warship and 2 per Small Warship).
  • If the island is clicked on in the map, or while viewing another player's islands the, "To Here" button can be pressed which will automatically have the island's coordinates in correct place in the harbour page.

Tactics

  • Don't just send a small force - even if the Island is undefended, you may still lose a ship.
For example, my force of 6 Small Warships, and 2 Small Merchant Ships (complete with 12 Stonethrowers on the Warships) suffered a loss of 1 Small Warship and one Stonethrower (I don't know how the odd one made it back - I guess he swam) against an owned, but completely undefended Island. I came away with 400 units of booty, but that didn't cover the losses.
