-- 2008: new funding program initiated by the government-funded Korea Research Foundation; The key points of the program are as follows:

1. it is designed to support an international research collaboration between two or three scholars about an open topic in any academic field.

2. One of the collaborators should be a Korea-based faculty member.

3. You may request up to 100,000 US dollars per year for each project.

4. The only condition is that two journal articles or one book has to be published within two years after the project has been done.

5. Application deadline: August 8, 2008
