In the begining Imperials has always been a Non-WoE guild Until AbelVox became second command of the guild. The first castle Imperials has ever taken was a castle owned by the owner of the server GM-Euphorian, Former leader of the guild Evil.

About The Ranks: The Ulfsark is the basic military soldier. Siguror means "victory" so "Twilight Siguror" would mean Twilight Victor and "Striving Siguror" means striving for victory. "Jarl" is the elite cavalry, so I just tried to purdy up the names as the levels get higher.
I really like the story behind the the transcendant class names (T stand for transcendant, if you didn't catch on yet). The Valkyrie choose heroes (level 99's) that are to die and their spirits transported to the Valhalla. So "Valkyrie's Decision" simply means that the character was chosen to be reborn by the Valkyrie.
Njorth (or Njord) is the god of the sea, winds, and prosperity. When you reach levels 60-79 as a transcendant, you are starting to become as prosperous and powerful as you were in your previous class.
The "Horn of the Einherjar" is a symbol of strength and victory. The sound strengthens the morale and spirit to the surrounding warriors. Therefore, a level 80-89 transcendant class would have a similar effect on surrounding guildmates. :P
Hersir is the name for legendary Norse heroes. As you reach level 99 as a transcendant class, you are basically becoming a legend or a god of your own. Therefore, you travel through Valhalla (the hall of fallen heroes, chosen by the Valkyrie) and end up in Asgard, which is the home of the gods. (Note: Ranks were made by former Imperial, Taranis)
