On the purdue pop quiz I scored a 50%. Out of 10 questions I answered only 5 correctly. Here are some things that I learned from this quiz:

75,000 trees must be cut down for one edition of the NY Times, I thought is was 300 trees.
17 trees are saved when 1 ton of waste is recycled, I thought it was 100 trees.
250 million tons of dangerous waste is produced each year in America, I thought it was 1 million.
30 % of landfills were closed between 1984 and 1988, I thought it was 5%.
1 out of every 11.00 spent at the grocery store is spent on packaging, I thought it was .10 cents.
