Melissa Kathleen Benton was born on March 2, 1984, in Naperville, Illinois, to Steven and Nancy Benton.
Melissa has been in many school musicals as well as the Field Band and was the lead singer in the Jazz Band in high school. She was also on the girls varsity Lacrosse team. She plans to attend college to pursue her music just like her cousin Andrea.
