It's happened to you. You spend a long time(or even a little time) making a backstory, personality, etc. etc. for your character...
And then the RP dies.

Well this is an outlet for that. A place where characters from dead RPs can hang out and possibly even do Mayhem some good.

== GM ==

== Premise ==

There is an organization in Mayhem. A somewhat large yet undiscovered organization. One branch of this organization has the job of monitoring RPs, watching the activity, and noting when they die. One of the executives in this branch has the job title "Death of Mayhem". 
Another executive in this branch, job title "Eyes of Mayhem", is the chief in the monitoring department, and also has good critical and tactical thinking skills. Seeing all the RPs which perished over the years, he began to consider useful things they contained and how he might utilize them. 
His conclusion was this: Make a team of characters from the dead RPs and have them obtain the items for the organization. 
He told the idea to his superiors, who approved and subsequently put him in charge of the project. But this left him in a quandary, for while he had good critical and tactical thinking, his public speaking skills were rather on the other end of the scale. So he went to his colleague and friend, "Death of Mayhem", and asked if he might be his liaison. An arrangement was promptly made.

*1. General forum rules apply, obviously.
*2. Unless otherwise stated by the GM, each poster may have only two characters in the organization at one time.
*3. All characters except "Death of Mayhem" and GM-operated characters must be from a dead RP.
*4. Bios may be copied from the original bios, but must include, in addition to standard bio fields, their original RP(or most recent, if they have transferred before) and a short summary of what occurred in the RP, if it is important.
*5. When posting, use a '''Bold location filter''' stating ''at least'' what RP you are in, though sublocations are preferred. However, start from the top - if you simply state a location without an RP, it will be assumed you are in the Hub.
*6. Where possible, attempt to make the dead RPs flow about the same as they did whilst alive. This includes, where possible: a. Having the original GM in charge of that thread and b. Having the original posters play their characters. This does NOT include pulling in people otherwise not involved in the RP to GM or play characters in dead threads. However, it does include any other posters autoing or whatever the characters to try to keep to their original spirit. Also note that LittleBeast always has override GMity. If the poster does not wish to GM or RP the character, or if they are not involved in the RP, it will pass to LittleBeast, who may in turn pass it to someone with more familiarity with the character or RP. Also, if the poster does not wish the character to be interacted with at all, they may request 'revival immunity', which will prevent the character from doing anything. Well this is an outlet for that. A place where characters from dead RPs can hang out and possibly even do Mayhem some good.

There is an organization in Mayhem. A somewhat large yet undiscovered organization. One branch of this organization has the job of monitoring RPs, watching the activity, and noting when they die. One of the executives in this branch has the job title "Death of Mayhem". 
Another executive in this branch, job title "Eyes of Mayhem", is the chief in the monitoring department, and also has good critical and tactical thinking skills. Seeing all the RPs which perished over the years, he began to consider useful things they contained and how he might utilize them. 
His conclusion was this: Make a team of characters from the dead RPs and have them obtain the items for the organization. 
He told the idea to his superiors, who approved and subsequently put him in charge of the project. But this left him in a quandary, for while he had good critical and tactical thinking, his public speaking skills were rather on the other end of the scale. So he went to his colleague and friend, "Death of Mayhem", and asked if he might be his liason. An arrangement was promptly made.

*6. Where possible, attempt to make the dead RPs flow about the same as they did whilst alive. This includes, where possible: a. Having the original GM in charge of that thread and b. Name- Marissa Baker 
Age- 17 
Gender- Female 
Appearance- Raw umber, approximately chest-length hair, no seperate bangs, blue eyes, not flat-chested, but not ridiculous huge breasts either , average height. 
Magic- She can transform herself, or any part of herself, to a lot of things(but within reason, o'course). However, she doesn't do it often, because it throws her blood sugar way out of whack (more on that later) 
Personality- Okay, first off, NOT A FRICKIN "LIKE" GIRL!! Anyway... she's pacifistic, wouldn't hurt someone unless she REALLY had to... Has liked webcomics for a long time, including EGS, Wotch, you know. She always thought the idea of transformation was kinda nifty, though weird. She's also a gamer, and kind of a fangirl sometimes... especially about Zelda. Pretty mellow, not shy per se, but not the kind of person that'll just smother you and make you uncomfortable... though she might huggle occasionally. 
History- Mostly had a pretty peachy life. She made a couple big mistakes... like when she did something overly aggressive, and pretty much got kicked out of school for the rest of the year. Since then she's been very very careful about not going out of line. 
About a year and a half ago (erm, by which I mean, fall '05), she started, first, to have fuzzy vision and to be thirsty all the time... after a few weeks of that, she began to get seriously sick... throwing up and stuff... her brother drove her to the doctor's, and they took her to the hospital... she was pretty well out of it at that point... just bobbing in and out of consciousness... when she woke up, she didn't have a clue what was going on... her mom was there... she told Melissa about what had been happening... she told her that she had diabetes...("but isn't diabetes an old fat person disease?" "um... no?") 
Since then, she's been learning to manage it. She got an insulin pump fall '06, and in the six months since then (cause this is set May '07, right?) she's gotten it to where it's pretty much taken care of. 
One night in May of '07, after staying up later than she should have re-reading the archives of EGS, she started thinking what it would be like if she could actually transform, like the characters in the comic... as she went to sleep, she almost thought her hands looked fuzzy, but that couldn't be right...

Appearance- Raw umber, approximately chest-length hair, no seperate bangs, blue eyes, not flat-chested, but not ridiculous huge breasts either , average height
Magic- She can transform herself, or any part of herself, to a lot of things(but within reason, o'course). However, she doesn't do it often, because it throws her blood sugar way out of whack (more on that later) (I hope this isn't a dupe, I didn't read the bios of the first few in the thread... )
Personality- Okay, first off, NOT A FRICKIN "LIKE" GIRL!! Anyway... she's pacifistic, wouldn't hurt someone unless she REALLY had to... Another executive in this branch, job title "Eyes of Mayhem", is the chief in the monitoring department, and also has good critical and tactical thinking skills. Seeing all the RPs which perished over the years, he began to consider useful things they contained and how he might utilize them. 
His conclusion was this: Make a team of characters from the dead RPs and have them obtain the items for the organization. 
He told the idea to his superiors, who approved and subsequently put him in charge of the project. But this left him in a quandary, for while he had good critical and tactical thinking, his public speaking skills were rather on the other end of the scale. So he went to his colleague and friend, "Death of Mayhem", and asked if he might be his liason. An arrangement was promptly made.

It's happened to you. You spend a long time(or even a little time) making a backstory, personality, etc. etc. for your character...
And then the RP dies.

Well this is an outlet for that. A place where characters from dead RPs can hang out and possibly even do Mayhem some good.

== Premise ==

There is an organization in Mayhem. A somewhat large yet undiscovered organization. One branch of this organization has the job of monitoring RPs, watching the activity, and noting when they die. One of the executives in this branch has the job title "Death of Mayhem". 
Another executive in this branch, job title "Eyes of Mayhem", is the chief in the monitoring department, and also has good critical and tactical thinking skills. Seeing all the RPs which perished over the years, he began to consider useful things they contained and how he might utilize them. 
His conclusion was this: Make a team of characters from the dead RPs and have them obtain the items for the organization. 
He told the idea to his superiors, who approved and subsequently put him in charge of the project. But this left him in a quandary, for while he had good critical and tactical thinking, his public speaking skills were rather on the other end of the scale. So he went to his colleague and friend, "Death of Mayhem", and asked if he might be his liason. An arrangement was promptly made.

Name: Tazaromer Namronemer. Yes, his parents were crazy.
Age: 30
Gender: M

Appearance: You know, I don't want to make up an appearance right now. He has brown hair and blue eyes and he's kinda tallish and kinda thinnish. There you go. Also he wears geeky T-shirts.

Backstory: He went to college. There he heard about the Tchotchkies (sp?). He thought they were cool and decided to look for them instead of actually, you know, getting a job or something. Lucky for him his parents are semi-celebrities(that's why they named him so crazy) and they lurv him and give him enough money to live on fairly well.

O_o: Yes, that's a section. Anycase, those Plot Gods didn't like the fact that his quest might be too easy, plus he was annoying, so they cursed him. Now, anytime he says more than three words at once*, he is set upon by some complication. The more he says, the worse it is likely to be. Luckily for him, he also seems to have some sort of time-freezing-super-thought ((That is, he's semi-meta and can review his posts before posting)) so that only really happens when he forgets, or just really wants to say long sentences. Also, because of this, he often uses big words.

*defined as "in a sentence". Also, hyphenated-words-like-this count as one word, but only if there are logical-hyphens. But he can-still-add hyphens where there-might-not-be-any usually.

Seeing the multitude of RPs that have died out over time, he began to worry about the whole of Mayhem dying. He thought about it, and was struck by an idea. 
His idea was this: To have a team of characters from dead RPs which would go into other dead RPs and attempt to revive them. 
He told the idea to his superiors, who approved and subsequently put him in charge of the project. But this left him in a quandary, for while he had good critical and tactical thinking, his public speaking skills were rather on the other end of the scale. So he went to his colleague and friend, "Death of Mayhem", and asked if he might be his liason. An arrangement was promptly made. 
"Eyes of Mayhem", seeing a potential problem, also set up a system to handle situations in which the RP of a member of the organization was successfully revived. In such a situation, a member would have three choices: 
*1. To use a "Perfect Cloner" to duplicate themselves; one copy would return to the RP, the other remain in the organization.
*2. To remain in the organization and desert the RP entirely.
*3. To return to the RP and take their leave from the organization.

*General appearance: Same as Ellen from the comic. Le duh. Oh and she's as much of a black-shirt fan as Elliot.
*Background: Ellen was the original in this universe. But she basically was about- not completely, but about- the same as Comic-Elliot. However, when the DD incident occurred, they found out about the side effects before the time limit ran out, and they had Tedd's TF gun with them, so both versions got zapped with all the [http://www.egscomics.com/d/20020514.html standard forms], minus the dog and mouse and plus otter, as well as v5 and v1 of both genders, and can therefore transform into all of them. However, the Dunkels were rather less financially stable in this 'verse, so Elliot got sent to some other safehouse. He was pretty pissed.

And Thor Jr. swore, because even though he'd managed to hit the snooze button with unnerving accuracy seven times now, his Dad had thrown open the blasted curtains again. And that very same light was now streaming into his room, to make sure that he couldn't get just five more minutes under the covers.

Thor Jr. Sighed. Looks like it was time for another day at Parthenon High, school of the Gods. Even superpowerful beings had to get up and brush their teeth, too. On time, or they'll miss the bus!

Firstly: THIS IS NOT A PLACE FOR RELIGIOUS DEBATE. IT IS A FUN, LIGHTHEARTED RP.

Welcome, students, to Parthenon High, School of the Gods. What? They had to pick up all the know-how somewhere.

This RP, is, as has been said a couple of times now, a High-School based one. Romance, interaction, with a light seasoning of plot to taste - This is largely what you can expect if you sign onto this idea.

==Setting/Premise==
High above the clouds, lies a land like no other.A land of the Gods. A land based, primarily, on Earth. Inspired by the creativity of mortals, the town of Longinus is a peaceful place, where, apart from the occasional neighborly disagreement about World Tree roots breaking pipelines or cracking driveways, it is relatively peaceful. Families of deities, existing or of your own creation, inhabit it's peaceful streets. It's almost surprising that bluebirds don't randomly break into song - Though, given the company, it's possible. The local Sol-Mart is always well-stocked with all the supplies these people might need, ranging from food, thunderbolts to Godly Contraceptives. (If Zeus can give birth from his forehead, I figure these'll be needed). Moretti, God of Pizza, Pasta and Fine Wine, owns a local restaurant - Moretti's Pizza, Pasta and Fine Wine - Suitable for quick snacks or sit-down meals. The restaurant seems to cheat a little too, being able to cater for a candle-lit dinner in the same hall as family feasts, without disrupting either.

Truly, the power of Italian food...

The school itself is another matter. Wide, open campus grounds, suitable for the three most popular games of Longinus - Gladiatorial Combat, Chariot Racing and American Football - Contains everything a budding student needs. The Looming Library, run by Allesa, Goddess of Paper and Returning-Books-On-Time, sits at the front desk, inspecting her spotless library through her pince-nez, ready to come down on troublemaking students like one of the massive, polished mahogany shelves she treasures so much. Indeed, the Looming Library is so much bigger on the inside, that students have gotten lost numerous times. There are rumors of a minotaur residing there, but it's kinda lost the thrill for the chase, after some wacky hero beat it by navigating the library with a ball of string, and normally just helps lost students find their way. Truly, the Looming Library is a magical place. Even if Allesa can get vengeful if property is damaged.

The school classrooms are very Spartan. Not in the sense that they're bare, they're literally modeled after the classrooms of Sparta, if Sparta had tables and desks. The combative nature of teh Spartan classroom is a bit lost, however, under various posters and projects that adorn the walls. It's hard to take Spartan spears seriously, when they're holding up a poster about "Our Friend, The Whale" (Which got a B+). Lockers are big, big enough to stuff another Godling in, or comfortably sit stone writing materials (Though, these were confiscated after some plucky god snuck two tablets to Earth). Currently, paper and pens are used. Calculators still haven't caught on, abacus being the popular medium for arithmetic. Classes are separated by gender, due to some rowdy antics of Diyonisis Jr. and Cthulhu Jr. The less said about that event, the better. Basic subjects, such as Math, Geography Over The Years, Written English are all mandatory, along with Deity 101, the most important class. It's taken by none other than Hercules, partly because he had to learn how to master his almighty power, but mostly because he's indestructible.
