When we first see him, Matt is wearing a replica of the red-knee lenght, hooded coat worn by a [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edward_Elric certain fictional alchemist]. He's also wearing a black t-shirt, with an alien-looking skull infront of two swords crossed infront of a shield. Below this icon it says "Legendary". He wears a genetic set of blue-jeans an skater-shoes.

== Personality ==

On the outside, Matthew is your average fun-loving nerd. He cracks jokes, and more often than not, those jokes are based on the "internets", which is like "a series of tubes", according to him. But beneith that facade lies a rather different person. On the inside, Matt is a deep-thinking, grim philosopher. He understands people, places and world events, and sees them as a pattern that "the very nature of Humanity binds itself to." He has a profound talent and interest in science and math, but doesn't always apply himself.

== Family ==

Matt was the first child in a second marrage. His two older half-sisters are out of college. His mother runs a consulting-training program out of their house, and his father is retired. He was in the "Gifted" program as a child, and his parents tended to put him on a pedistal.

== Miscellaneous Background ==

No other tidbits have been revealed of his past.

== Post-Accident ==
=== Appearance ===

His hair turns black, and the tips red; except for the long bang to the left of his left eye; this is red with black tips. The irises of his eyes turn red. His skin turns slightly more pale than it was to begin with.

=== Abilities ===

Matthew can manipulate a strange form of "Dark energy." It looks like a black mass with a slight purple glow. He can form this into bolts, blasts, sword. The more comlicated objects required more concentration and stamina. Matthew also has increased speed, strenght and stamina. Not incredibly dramatic, but still notable.

=== Personality ===

The mounting stress of the situation after the accident begins to wear away at Matt's facade of cheerfulness, and his interal seriousness begins to twist itself into a sense of duty.

== Notes and Errata ==
* Matt has a talent for mimicking voices.
* Matt is an anime/manga fan and artist.
