Grisham is one of few WWE workers that survived the mast cull as it transformed into DXX. He outlasted the likes of veterans Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler, and since the departure of numerous backstage interviewers Grisham has become Massacre's senior interviewer. He is a face member of staff, popular backstage and well received by the fans. Since Massacre's takeover by Chris Jericho, the interviewing team were in fear that they may be removed after the firing of former Play-by-Play commentator, Michael Cole, their fears were further increased with the introduction of new interviewer Chelsea Korka.
