The current champions are The X-Connection, who, after the Massacre/Mayhem Supershow which took place on March 26th 2008, we called to Mayhem General Manager [[Rocco Ross]' office and awarded the titles. Several weeks earlier they had stole the belts from The Motor City Machine Guns, but Ross saw fit to crown new champions leading into the WrestleMania 2 Pay-Per-View.
