The '''D-Generation XX X-Division Championship''' (unofficially known as the '''DXX Australasian Championship''' when held by an Australian Superstar) is a professional [[e-wrestling]] championship. Currently, it is the third highest ranked championship on the [[Monday Night Massacre|Massacre]] brand of [[Main Page|D-Generation XX]] and is held by [[Bobby Marshall]].

==History==

The first recognised X-Division Champion was [[Wes Zephaniah]], who defeated seven men in a battle royal match at [[The Rebirth 2008|The Rebirth]] Pay-Per-View event in January 2008. He held the belt for little over a month before losing to [[Alex Shelley]] in a 'Luchas de Apuestas' match on the March 4th episode of Monday Night Massacre, but won it back in the subsequent rematch at [[WrestleMania II]] at the end of that month.

Zephaniah's second title reign lasted twice as long as his first, although he didn't defend his title until five weeks after winning it. His first challenger was [[Kurt Angle]], and after successfully beating him, and going another several weeks without defending his title yet again, he took on Money In The Bank winner [[Kevin Kompiler]] after he won a number 1 contenders match for the right to face the champion. However Zephaniah's luck ran out when they met on May 28th as Kompiler successfully wrestled the title away from him. Kompiler held the title for over a month before vacating it without defending it, in order to concentrate on his newly won [[DXX Championship]].

In the weeks leading up to the [[SummerSlam 2008]] Pay-Per-View a [[Glory Hunt]] tournament took place with points being earned for each victory, and the two Superstars with the most points faced each other at the Pay-Per-View. The two were [[Chase Andrews]] and [[White Cloud]], and on the night Cloud successfully won the match to begin his first reign as X-Division Champion. Shortly after winning the title he unofficially changed the name of it to the DXX Australasian Championship. Four months after winning the title he announced his retirement from wrestling, vacating the title in the process.

At the Pay-Per-View [[Facing Extinction 2008|Facing Extinction]] Bobby Marshall successfully defeated [[Petey Williams]] to win the vacant gold, and carrying on the Australian tradition started by White Cloud before him he also referred to the title as the Australasian Championship. Also carrying on a rather different Australian tradition he also retired from DXX soon after winning the belt, making the X-Division Title vacant once more.

==Current champion==

The X-Division Championship remained vacant until the February 2nd episode of Massacre, where the recently un-retired Bobby Marshall faced his fellow Australian [[Nick Awesome]] for the gold in a gruelling ladder match. Marshall ultimately got the win to begin his second reign as 'Australasian Champion.'

==About D-Generation XX==
[http://www.d-xx.co.nr D-Generation XX] (also known as DXX) was established in August 2006 by [[Mr._McMahon_%28DXX%29|Mr. McMahon]], better known at the time as Kurt Cantona. He was part of a wrestling forum that was very poorly run, and decided to establish DXX, sharing his vision with several other members and recruiting them to help get the new site off the ground. Almost instantly the site became a success thanks to a combination of excellent advertising ideas, hard work, good show writing and of course a little bit of luck. Within a matter of weeks DXX was fully functional, with a weekly e-fed show, a friendly and close community and an ever-expanding graphics area to give the forum a secondary purpose.

Today (at time of writing) DXX is home to over 200 members, although around 1,500 have been a part of the site since its inception. There are currently 2 different brands - [[Monday Night Massacre]] and [[Friday Night Mayhem]], and both shows have five titles with a Womens Title shared between them, for a brief time DXX had it's own development brand under the former WWE name OVW (Ohio valley Wrestling) in 2008, it was announced the idea would be revived under the new name of [[DXX Rated]] (also known as DXXÂ®) . There is also a thriving Graphics section of the site, where all the great GFX makers from all around the world post and review each other graphics as well as share tutorials, advice and ideas.

Every year sinxe it began DXX has hosted the [[DXX Awards]] and the [[DXX Hall of Fame]] and briefly in 2006, the Real Life Wrestling Awards.

Friday Night Mayhem was started for much the same reasons as Massacre. A new look e-fed meant new look shows and this meant the birth of the new show on DXX. ==Monday Night Massacre==
Monday Night Massacre was born on December 3, 2007, after DXX RAW was scrapped because DXX members voted on a new look e-fed. Massacre has brought some of the most nail-biting action that DXX has ever seen including an Elimination Chamber match and an innovative Luchas de Apuestas match. Massacre has one of the most open rosters in the E-Fed industry, and it is home also home to DXX's X-Division, Intercontinental, Tag Team and Hardcore Titles as well as the prestiegous DXX Championship.

== Friday Night Mayhem ==
This is our staple show, a fixture to many households worldwide and that is Friday Night Mayhem!

Friday Night Mayhem promises a spectacular show week in and week out with high octane action and everything from the most technical of matches to out of control and brutal hardcore brawls! Through the dozens of episodes since the new "Friday Night Mayhem" took place it has gone through four GMs. [[Nabeel Nawaz]], [[Wes Zephaniah|Wes]], [[Randy Orton]], and [[Carari Grey]]. It championships as of now is the [[DXX Universe Championship|Universe Title]], the [[DXX Millennium Championship|Millennium Title]], the [[DXX Trans-Continental Championship|Trans-Continental Title]] and the [[DXX Universe Tag Team Championships|Universe Tag Team Titles]].

Mayhem has heavy use of the color blue and minor use of the color green. At one time the show was built around the superstars of [[Rocco Ross]] and [[Josh Impact]], and once Impact fell from grace and Ross became General Manager of [[Monday Night Massacre]] Nabeel Nawaz got the push to the main event scene along with four other superstars - [[DJ Hipp]], [[Triple H]], [[John Bradshaw Layfield|JBL]], and [[Luke McQuillian]]. When Carari Grey took over the GM role it was Orton hogging the main event scene as some saw it, winning the DXX World Heavyweight Championship, but a month later a group of younger and new stars got their chance to be a part of the main event picture. DJ Hipp eventually won the title from Orton and now the likes of Hipp, [[Kenny Dykstra]], [[FleX]], [[Dagger Dave|Sadistic Dave]] and other stars are getting the chances they may never had gotten during past GM reigns. On 26 August 2008, Carari Grey resigned after backstage problems, found out after her absence from [[DXX Anniversary 2008|DXX Anniversary]]. It was later announced that former General Manager of [[Mayhem]] and Assistant General Manager of [[Massacre]], [[Nabeel Nawaz]] would be taking over.

== Friday Night Mayhem ==
This is our staple show, a fixture to many households worldwide and that is Friday Night Mayhem!

Friday Night Mayhem promises a spectacular show week in and week out with high octane action and everything from the most technical of matches to out of control and brutal hardcore brawls! Through the dozens of episodes since the new "Friday Night Mayhem" took place it has gone through four GMs. [[Nabeel Nawaz]], [[Wes Zephaniah|Wes]], [[Randy Orton]], and [[Carari Grey]]. It championships as of now is the [[DXX Universe Championship|Universe Title]], the [[DXX Millennium Championship|Millennium Title]], the [[DXX Trans-Continental Championship|Trans-Continental Title]] and the [[DXX Universe Tag Team Championships|Universe Tag Team Titles]].

Mayhem has heavy use of the color blue and minor use of the color green. At one time the show was built around the superstars of [[Rocco Ross]] and [[Josh Impact]], and once Impact fell from grace and Ross became General Manager of [[Monday Night Massacre]] Nabeel Nawaz got the push to the main event scene along with four other superstars - [[DJ Hipp]], [[Triple H]], [[John Bradshaw Layfield|JBL]], and [[Luke McQuillian]]. When Carari Grey took over the GM role it was Orton hogging the main event scene as some saw it, winning the DXX World Heavyweight Championship, but a month later a group of younger and new stars got their chance to be a part of the main event picture. DJ Hipp eventually won the title from Orton and now the likes of Hipp, [[Kenny Dykstra]], [[FleX]], [[Dagger Dave|Sadistic Dave]] and other stars are getting the chances they may never had gotten during past GM reigns. On 26 August 2008, Carari Grey resigned after backstage problems, found out after her absence from [[DXX Anniversary 2008|DXX Anniversary]]. It was later announced that former General Manager of [[Mayhem]] and Assistant General Manager of [[Massacre]], [[Nabeel Nawaz]] would be taking over.

Robert Marshall (Jr.) was born to Robert (Sr.) and Helen Marshall (nee Collis) on July the 19th, 1985, at St. Andrew's Hospital in Sydney. When Bobby was only 3 years old, the family decided to start a new life, over on the west coast, in Perth.

He started Professional Wrestling at a young age, and decided to join his local Indy fed, Explosive Pro Wrestling. After 7 years, he finally won the EPW Championship, and was one of the most successful wrestlers in the business. He quit while he was ahead, on tour in America, and decided to join DXX when he was spotted by a scouting agent, performing a match at an EWF show in San Bernadino, California, while currently on tour with NWA Pro, loaned from EPW. Bobby was given a contract and has since been working on Friday Night Mayhem, with his debut approaching.

===DXX: The Rebirth===

Bobby Marshall signed with DXX on June 26th and made his debut on the 11th of July edition of Mayhem, where he pinned Joe Bruiser following a Scissor Kick. Only hours before this edition of Mayhem, Bobby had a fallout Abdul Shabazz and Justin Matthews, his partners, about Torrie Falconfeather managing the stable, causing Religion and Rage to collapse. And so, Bobby decided to reconsider his views of the crowd and reform the Irish Connection with the returning Chris O'Leary, straight after the 11th of July edition of Mayhem. Carari Grey has booked Bobby a match for the 18th as well, Bobby teams up with Mickie James, Miss Jackie and 'The Straight Edge Superstar' CM Punk to take on his former partner, Abdul Shabazz, the man he defeated on Mayhem, Joe Bruiser, and his brother Blake Bruiser in a 4 on 3 Handicap match.

===SummerSlam===

After accepting a challenge to fight The Black Hearts, weeks before SummerSlam, Bobby knew he had a load on his hands. Going into SummerSlam, nerves filled the heads of The Irish Connection, but somehow they pulled off the victory, and defeated one of the greatest teams in DXX's history.

===Cursed?===

Many fans of Bobby, and even Bobby himself, have been led to believe he is cursed. Here is a brief summary of why:

Joe and Blake Bruiser both fell victim to brash beatings by Bobby, Joe twice, Blake once. Moments after, they quit the company.

Abdul Shabazz and Justin Matthews created a stable with Bobby, and when they had a fallout, Abdul and Justin disappeared.

As did CM Punk, who Bobby briefly befriended, before he betrayed him.

Afterward, Bobby set his sights on The Black Hearts and defeated them at SummerSlam. They were his enemies, and they moved to Mayhem. Soon after the match, Rocco Ross was fired.

8 different men, all moved somewhere after encountering Bobby. Within one month. With people dropping like flies, is Bobby on his way to getting rid of someone he cares for? Is he that much of a prick, is he cursed, or is it merely a coincedence. You decide.
