===Early Life===
Ghost was born in Oakland, California and has lived their all his life. His family had links to the Black Panthers, there are rumours that Ghost's uncle was responsible for five deaths in the mid 1970s. Since the breakup of the Black Panthers in 1976, Ghost's family had been key members of an underground pro-black movement which Ghost himself became a part of at sixteen. Around the same time, Ghost began training for a career in a childhood passion of his: wrestling. Inspired by black heroes like Ron Simmons, Ghost fully completed training a year later and made his pro wrestling debut in AECW [American English Connected Wrestling]. At the time, the promotion was being booked by current [[Mayhem]] GM [[Lord Luke Mitchell]]. Ghost performed well, racking up a fair number of wins but left the company on bad terms due to him feeling he was being racially discriminated against by Mitchell, the fed booker. Mitchell denied this, claiming Ghost was a talented wrestler that just needed to pay his dues. Mitchell confirmed his earlier statement when he signed Ghost to [[Mayhem]], it remains to be seen if Ghost will receive the title opportunities he thinks he deserves, especially now after paying his dues on the Indy circuit.

Ghost made his major wrestling debut in the [[Carari Grey]] ran AOA promotion along with Fade, known collectively as the Bay Area Balla's. In his first and only match, Ghost defeated Eric "XXX" Logan with the Skull Fucka. Unfortunately AOA closed down before Ghost's scheduled match for the vacant AOA World Heavyweight Title.

Ghost moved on with his career by joining the returning CGS on an open contract. His first match was a victory over "Pretty Boy" [[Pete]] on a house show with the Skull Fucka and he followed this up in his TV debut by beating CGS legend STL with the same move. Ghost then represented CGS in a grudge match against Obsessed With Wrestling's Contemp fought with no rules. The match saw a reunion of the Bay Area Balla's with a surprise appearance from Fade to overcome interference from many Obsessed With Wrestling superstars including WWEfan, Stevo, Macho Man and Daywalker. After this memorable victory Ghost was drafted to Carnage as the GM's second pick. He spent the next two weeks as a manager for Notorious, the other half of their tag team The Immortal Outlawz, but returned to the ring in a Fatal-Four Way where he eliminated [[Nick Awesome]], Jason York and [[Black Dagger]] in successive falls to win the match. Ghost competed with Notorious in tag team matches for a few weeks before Ghost defeated Black Dagger at the PPV "Silent Night Deadly Night" to lift the CGS Continental Title. However, he was fired from the company on the post-PPV episode of Carnage for drugs. He was never pinned or submitted during his time there.

In mid December, Ghost inked an open contract with [[DXX]], immediately being signed to the [[Mayhem]] brand. He made his debut at [[Crucifixtion]] by helping [[Khwame Myles]] beat [[Chris Jericho]] for the [[DXX Trans-Continental Title]]. He was then unveiled as a member of the newly resurrected [[Hood Tribe]] stable. [[DJ Hipp]] had seen Ghost in action in AOA and CGS, impressed by his determination and natural ability, Hipp signed Ghost up to his faction. In his debut, Ghost beat [[Dagger Dave]] with the Killuminati to advance to the second round of a tournament to crown a Magnum Champion. Ghost would lose against Chris Jericho though via DQ afte interference from members of the Hood Tribe.

The match saw a reunion of the Bay Area Balla's with a surprise appearance from Fade to overcome interference from many Obsessed With Wrestling superstars including WWEfan, Stevo, Macho Man and Daywalker. After this memorable victory Ghost was drafted to Carnage as the GM's second pick. He spent the next two weeks as a manager for Notorious, the other half of their tag team The Immortal Outlawz, but returned to the ring in a Fatal-Four Way where he eliminated [[Nick Awesome]], Jason York and [[Black Dagger]] in successive falls to win the match. He is currently undefeated in CGS.

===DXX - The Early Days===

Ryan Campbell had been a fan of pro wrestling since he was a child and after gaining fame in MMA for his colourful interviews and hard hitting approach, the [[DXX]] wrestling promotion offered him a deal. Campbell, nicknamed "Bad Boy" in MMA due to his interest in women, alcohol and cigarettes not to mention his general attitude to opponents, accepted and began the training needed to become a wrestler. Ryan cut a promo on the red brand of [[Massacre]], making his on-air debut in DXX just three months after signing the contract. The fans reaction to "Bad Boy" was good but it didn't take long before he was swapping insults with [[Randy Spade]] and [[Mike Kelly]] in heated promos. Massacre GM [[Chris Jericho]] placed Ryan against [[Nick Awesome]], who was unbeaten at the time. Campbell had top quality stamina but his lack of wrestling ability was exposed in his debut match against Nick Awesome on Massacre which he lost via submission when Awesome locked in the Sharpshooter.

After this dissappointing loss, Ryan was sent to the newly formed [[DXX Rated]] brand to help him hone his skills before making the trip back to the big leagues. He understood that he needed to improve his game and that Rated was the best place to do it. "Bad Boy" faced and defeated Renato in his first Rated match by submission when he broke Renato's arm, putting him out of action indefinately. Next week, Ryan was put up against the odd couple of [[Beth Phoenix]] and [[Jamie Noble]] in a mixed tag match with his partner being [[Daisy Vacairu]]. Ryan and Daisy overcame Beth and Jamie with Daisy getting the win via roll-up after a "Bad Boy" distraction.

Around the same time period, Ryan Campbell engaged in a series of confrontations with [[The Jones Twins]]. He disliked the lack of respect they showed to the wrestlers of DXX Rated and challenged both Jones Twins to a handicap match. [[Ami Jones]] called for a singles match instead and it was made official by [[Sylvan Grenier]]. Leading up to the match, Ami Jones switched back and forth between declaring his respect for the "Bad Boy" and screaming abuse at him. Campbell managed to defeat Ami via DQ when the twins began to double team him to remain undefeated in DXX Rated. A week later, "Bad Boy" was randomly drawn with Randy Spade to take part in the [[DXX Rated Tag Team Titles]] Tournament. They beat Bryan Matthews and Robert Murdock with ease in the first round and then [[Rhino]] and [[Alex Idol]] in the second to extend Ryan's personal record on Rated to 5-0. Therefore Ryan and Randy would face Ryan Black and Trixx as well as The Jones Twins at [[Genocide]] in a Triple Theat for the DXX Rated Tag Team Titles.

Before the PPV, Ryan was scheduled to face Trixx in a singles match. The "Bad Boy" beat Trixx with a roll-up in a close match to remain undefeated going into the biggest match of his career so far. Randy and Ryan defeated The Jones Twins and Trixx & Ryan Black at "Genocide" to lift the DXX Rated Tag Team Titles. In the following weeks, Ryan Campbell and Randy Spade defeated The Jones Twins in a non-title match and then the number one contenders [[The Miz]] and [[John Morrison]] with Ryan getting the pinfall. But due to a lack of effort and preparation from Spade, who let Campbell down, The Evolutionary Revivalists dropped the belts to The Miz and John Morrison. After this loss, Ryan's first on Rated, he announced that he would be returning to MMA but may return one day. He then proceeded to ink a one match contract with RAGE. After he defeated Johnny Silverstein in his MMA comeback match, many expected a return to DXX but he put pen to paper on an extended three match contract to rule out any return to wrestling in the near future.
