Declaration of Retribution was a Pay-Per-View event produced by D-Generation XX. The show was a joint effort from Friday Night Mayhem and DXX Rated supertars. It is the second DOR to be featured since being created by former General Manager, Carari Grey.
The match was scheduled to take place against Kevin Kompiler, but Kompiler's no show meant General Manager, Jacky Williams, had decided to simply award Black the title instead.
Following the match Myles was announced as the new Assistant General Manager of Mayhem. Massacre superstar , Azrael, took part in the match using a previous rematch clause.
