As black in soul as the night, known by the races of the realms only as shadows, these lurkers of the dark are ever present, moving unobserved through the darkness with fluid graceful movement. Apparently humanoid in appearance, they remain but shadows even in the brightest light. Although more naturally suited to be spellcasters, their great dexterity and ability to dodge attacks, combined with the ability to pass through some locked doors, makes them very competent thieves.
