XIII. Noi crediamo che tutto ciò che è necessario per la nostra salvezza ci è stato offerto e comunicato in Gesù Cristo, il quale, essendoci stato dato per la salvezza, è stato fatto al tempo stesso per noi sapienza, giustizia, santificazione e redenzione (1 Co. 1:30; Ef. 1:7; Cl. 1,13-14; l Ti. 1:15; Tt. 2:14), cosicché allontanandosi da lui si rinuncia alla misericordia del Padre, nella quale dobbiamo trovare il nostro unico rifugio (Gv. 3:18; 1 Gv. 2:23).
