Bandwidths: Fantasy creatures thought up by Francis. Basically a personification of internet bandwidth, which resembles a Pikmin. It has 2 Tippi resembling wings and a mini-earth replacing the usual leaf/bud/flower.

Ben: A corrupted version of ban. Created by Mama Luigi.

Bloxxing: Getting killed in the online game, [http://www.roblox.com Roblox]. Sometimes used in Roblox discussion topics.

C-c-c-c-combo breaker: A meaningless term used to spam topics. Unknown origins.

Crag: A censor used by Digibutter. Inspired by the Cragnons in Chapter 5 of Super Paper Mario.

Here are some of the phrases that are commonly used on Digibutter, and their meanings:

=A-E=

Awsum: A misspelling of "awesome". Typically used by [[Members/Lord Bowser | Lord Bowser]] to describe someone he thinks is cool.

Awesomesauce: Same thing as "awsum", but used by more members.

Bandwidths: Fantasy creatures thought up by Francis. Basically a personification of internet bandwidth. Francis says, "Every time you hit Refresh, a Bandwidth dies."

Buhmillion: A very large number. Coined by the [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kids_Next_Door Kids Next Door]. For algebra buffs, it is 1,000,000,000 to the millionth power or <math>1000000000 E 1000000</math> (basically, 9 million zeros!).

-crag-: Used as an expletive. Inspired by the Cragnons in Chapter 5 of Super Paper Mario.

Digital Sea: In ''Code Lyoko'', anyone that fell into the Digital Sea basically ceased to exist in Lyoko, and could be brought back out only by special means. In Digibutter, it's the place that dead topics, game-overed websites, and The Dump sank into, becoming just useless data floating randomly in the internet. Digiloser (Digiloser): A phrase used by Bowser Jr. which is an alteration of ( Digibutter ) to distinctly show how lowly he thinks of Digibutter and to abide by his "loserific" view on all things Digibutter. ( Bowser Jr. sometimes uses the exact same word relating to a Digibutter Member, mostly used in plural and rarely ever used outside of the Introduction Forum. )

Epic: A term used to make a noun more potent and to put more emphasis on the word. ''See Epic win and Epic fail.''

Induhvidual: Used as an insult. Originated from a book by Scott Adams. So far, it has only been used at Digibutter by [[Members/Wacko McGoose | Wacko McGoose]].

It sank: See [[It sank]].

ITT: The exact definition is "In this topic". Used to make a topic sound important.

IMO: In my opinion. Used the same way as ITT.

lepidoptero.nerr: Supposedly, this is the German spelling of "digibutter.nerr". Francis also noted that "lepidoptero" is the German word for "butteryfly", and therefore they left the "digi" part out. If that is true, a more accurate translation would be digilepidoptero.nerr.

Lawl: A corrupted version of LOL.

Lizard Lip ( Lizard Lipped loser ): The first phrase which is a direct insult against Francis, is used primarily by Lord Bowser whilst the phrase in brackets is used by his Son, whom simply extended the statement to abide by his constant refference of everyone being losers.

Lolwut: Literally, "Laughing out loud; what was that?". [[Members/Lord Bowser |
Lord Bowser]] made Digibutter headlines and a mention in [[History | Digibutterwiki History]] when he used it. See [[LB said lolwut]].

Loser: An insult mostly used by Bowser Jr. that specifies that he is referring to a specific person, except when used as a plural ( Losers ) which concerns everyone, Members and Mods alike.

Loserific: A phrase used by Bowser Jr. primarily concerning how lowly he thinks of everyone.

Lulz: Another corrupted version of LOL.

Morons: A word that both Lord Bowser and Bowser Jr. use to describe people they thinks are dumb. See also Induhviduals.

Mmm, bandwidth.: The typical reply to when someone says "Nom nom nom".

Nom nom nom: A term used when someone is eating bandwidth for the fun of it. Several topics were made during the [[Nom nom nom | Nom nom nom fad]] that "ate bandwidth". Francis usually replied, "Bandwidth doesn't grow on trees, you know! Except for the ''Tree of Bandwidth''..."

OVER 9000!: Another large number, but not as "gihugic" as a buhmillion. Used as a measure of epicness.

OVER INFINITYYYYYYY: Apparently, this is a paradoxical version of OVER 9000!.

Phail: A very bad fail. Also see "epic fail".

Phailed: When a whole topic or idea phails.

pr0n: An intentional misspelling of Porn, used to prevent one of Francis' Meowmaids from auto-deleting the topic.

Schpezi: Sweedish for "retard". Not used often on Digibutter.

The Dump

'''The Dump''' was one of the 19 forums of ''[http://www.Digibutter.nerr.biz digibutter.nerr.biz]'', also being the spammiest. Post count didn't go up here, so [[Coins]] were not given, although one could lose coins by [[Necro-Bumping]] threads or [[Double Posting]]. Being the spammiest, many people posted stuff which could've lead them straight to [[Digibutter Prison]]. Many members enjoyed hanging out here when nothing else was going on. There were frequent flamewar attempts to break the forums.

== History ==
Since General Discussion was getting so spammy, [[Members/Francis|Francis]] made a forum where people could spam there heart out. However, after being abused with too much mature content, the dump was destroyed, locked and hidden. It was then replaced with [[Off-Topic]].

The explosion of The Dump was of course, created by Francis. but when he set the explosive, he didn't have enough time to get out, and was caught in the flames. after some time, he came back from the living dead to become Phrancis, a combonation of Francis and Phoenix, a legendary bird that rises from the ashes and cannot be killed. He then turned back to Francis, and everything was back to normal.
At least, whatever IS normal for digibutter.

An alternate theory about the Dump's destruction is that Francis triggered the clamps holding the Dump to release, sending it into the Digital Sea. Francis couldn't get to the Way Tower in time, and was devirtualized. One of Francis' Meowmaids, feeling the need to get Francis back into reality, started a program that rescued Francis from the sea. But the Meowmaid made a typo during the materialization process, turning Francis into Phrancis. Phrancis later fized the typo, and he became Francis again. (Theory created by [[Members/Wacko McGoose|The Toon Lyokon]])

== The Moderators ==

July 26 was a historic day for Digibutter. Because of the outbreak of spammers, flamers, and trolls, the site's Administrator, [[Members/Francis | Francis]], formed the Mod Squad to help stop the seemingly nonstop amount of flame wars that were taking place. The six members who were promoted to Moderator status were none other than [[Popple|Popple]] (who was the first Moderator on the forum), [[Members/Plastic Mario|Plastic Mario]], [[Members/Chaos Dimentio|Chaos Dimentio]], [[Members/TotalSpaceshipGuy3|TotalSpaceshipGuy3]], [[Members/Francine|Francine]], and [[Members/Mister I|Mister I]].

On November 12, 2007, [[Members/TotalSpaceshipGuy3|TotalSpaceshipGuy3]] resigned his position as moderator, stating if the community ever needs him, he'll be back in a flash. He is the first, and so far, only moderator to lose his/her status, albeit voluntarily.

The Bank is a feature that allows you to store Coins and Items. You cannot spend or Donate Coins while they are in the Bank, and you cannot use Items while they are in the Bank. Coin amounts slowly increase while in the bank (1% every other day), and having Items in the Bank can allow you to have more than 20 Items, which is the normal max amount.

<nowiki><C++ jargon></nowiki>Unfortunately, Francis created the interest system using int variables instead of passing floats to ints<nowiki></C++ jargon></nowiki>, so you have to have at least 100 coins in the Bank before you get ANY interest...

He is found on top of a giant rock in The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. When you talk to him, you can ask him about his opinion on many things. In The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, you will randomly find hinm running along one of the main roads, but more often near Leyawiin or Anvil.

*Not allowed to use Knife or Axe sub weapons.
**These are easily the most effective sub weapons in the game.
*Not allowed to equip shields.
**Shields can block most projectiles, and add decent DEF.
*Not allowed to equip cheap weapons.
**Alot of weapons attack very fast, or have massive power.
*Not allowed to equip headgear except Holy Glasses.
**Headgear provides great resistances almost required for some bosses. Holy Glasses are essential to reaching the second half of the game.
*Not allowed to equip accessories except Gold/Silver rings.
**Easy stat boosters banned. The Gold/Silver rings add nothing, but allow you to get the Holy Glasses.
*Allowed to equip any armor except Walk Armor, Diamond Plate, and anything superior to the Diamond Plate.
**All the best armor is restricted.
*Allowed to wear any cloak that gives 1-2 DEF.
**The best cloak I can wear is the Crystal Cloak, which you get early in the game.
*MUST FIGHT EVERY BOSS.
**This includes Galamoth the 500 foot tall demon.
*Not allowed to cast 'Hellfire', 'Summon Spirit', 'Tetra Spirit' or 'Soul Steal'.
**Only method of healing is savepoints and Dark Metamorphasis.
*Not allowed to use Summon Cards.
**Summons are very helpful in the game.

Maiq wants you to bet where you think he will die first(There will be a 5 level grace period at the start of the game).

If Maiq dies while facing a boss(which is most likely) then everyone who bet on that boss gets the jackpot split between them. You can only place bets on up to 5 categories, with 5 coins per category.

Betting ends Sept. 8th, Maiq's birthday. Starting from that day, two more coins are added to the jackpot for each day that passes.

*Maiq's party avatars, a customary service where a person's avatar is given a funny smile and googly eyes while spinning, was not planned to be popular. People liked Maiq's avatar and requested them.
*The "it sank" trend started when Maiq posted a picture of a sinking boat with the words "ALL ABOARD THE FAILBOAT" in a thread. Mama Luigi responded with "it sank" and the rest is history.(If Maiq is incorrect, and it started before this, please inform him)

Metroid Invasion

On Monday, August 27, soon after Tippi was replaced by a Metroid by [[Members/Francis|Francis]] to Celebrate the release of Metroid Prime 3, some of the Members of Digibutter started adding a Metroid to their Avatars. Shortly after, a Metroid appeared on Everyone's Avatars. Thus starting the Metroid Invasion. This lasted till the end of the day, however, very little members ([[Members/Fireice|Fireice]]) kept the same Metroid Avatar. Strangely, the Member [[User:MALAK|MALAK's]] Metroid was friendly, and ended up being his pet, called Metroidy. Nobody knows if [[Members/Francis|Francis]] is planning to bring them back someday. But one things for sure: It was a day to remember.

Not everyone added a metroid. Lord Bob sure didn't. And neither did Black Twilight. One tried to eat Wacko McGoose, but a quick rental of the Omnitrix from the Smash Dojo shop fixed that.
