A sensory system is the umbrella term for a unit within a Cybertronian that is designed specifically for experiencing and processing various kinds of stimuli.

While humans are limited to 5 senses, Transformers are capable of developing and being retrofitted with a plethora of sensory systems, while at the same time may lack others that we would consider normal.
