• 28th - Whitehorse Meadow - (12:00hrs) 1 Green Woodpecker,1 Nuthatch,(John Watson Gavin Hawgood)

• 28th - Norbury. Grey wagtail male seen for third time this week in damp basement area.Green wood feeding on lawn next door. Grey Heron over (Mike Netherwood)

• 28th - Selsdon Park - Tawny Owl heard briefly, 1 Nuthatch, 1 Stock Dove, 1 Pheasant, 1 Goldcrest singing. (John Birkett)

• 28th - Sanderstead Plantation - 30+ Redwing, 2 Goldcrests (one singing), 2 Coal Tits, 1 Stock Dove. (John Birkett)

• 27th - Waddon Ponds (13:00) - c75 Coots, 20 Tufted Duck, 8 Moorhens, 6 Little Grebes [a good count for Croydon - JB], 2 Mistle Thrushes, 1 Redwing, 2 Goldcrests, 3 House Sparrows, Long-tailed Tits, Greenfinch, Goldfinch, c100 Black-headed Gulls, 40 Canada Geese. (Linda & Terry Osborn)

• 25th - 8 Siskins, 4 Bullfinches, 7 Goldcrests, 1 Treecreeper, 3 Nuthatches, 5 Song Thrushes, 3 Stock Doves on Addington Hills. (John Parish)

• 25th - South Norwood CP. Red-legged Partridge [apparently this has been present for some time and tends to be found around the hedge separating Croydon Arena from Tramlink at the Rylands Field end], 1 Snipe around the lake, 6 Stock Doves including one 'singing', Goldcrest singing, 9+ Shovelers, 2 Pochards, 20+ Tufted Ducks, 200+ Black-headed Gulls, 30-40 Fieldfares, a few Redwings, 3 Kestrels. • 23rd - Markfield - 5 Lesser Redpolls feeding on Buddleia, Niger seed and sunflower hearts, 2 Marsh Tits, female Blackcap, 2 Long-tailed Tits, Coal Tit

• 22nd - Goldcrest singing near Sanderstead Library. (John Birkett)

• 22nd - Duppas Hill - female Sparrowhawk mobbed by a Crow, flew over the park scattering a large number of Starlings and Pigeons. (Simon Harris)

• 20th - Riddlesdown - 10 Stock Doves, 15+ Linnets, 10+ Long-tailed Tits, 2 Mistle Thrush, 1 Pheasant, 10+ Jackdaws, 1 Skylark singing, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker drumming. (John Birkett)

• 15th - Hutchinson's Bank - Sparrowhawk mobbed by BHGull, One Buzzard mobbed by Crow flew over New Addington, second Buzzard flew high over the site avoiding three model planes (Ted Forsyth)

• 12th - Purley Way - 1 cock Pheasant near the main road (Derek Lea)

• 12th - Markfield - Marsh Tit, Coal Tit, 2 Long-tailed Tit, 6 Great Tit, 20 Blue Tit, 2 Lesser Redpoll, female Blackcap (Ted Forsyth )

• 11th - 5 Redwings feeding on Duppas Hill Park opposite Warrington Road. (Simon Harris)

• 11th - Markfield - Goldcrest, female Blackcap, 4 Long-tailed Tit, male Great Spotted Woodpecker, 4 Jay (Ted Forsyth)

• 8th - Farleigh Dean Crescent, Featherbed Lane - Sparrowhawk flew over (Ted Forsyth)

• 3rd - Green Sandpiper flew over Norbury Park about 13:05 flying towards Norbury Brook. (Terry and Linda Osborn)

• 2nd - 15+ Blackbirds eating apples in a Sanderstead garden after heavy snow. Also 30 Greenfinches, 20 Chaffinches and 3 Goldfinches on feeders. Fieldfare heard. (John Birkett)
