Twenty minutes later the Jarif is almost out of range. Your energy reserves are exhausted and the shields must be weakening. Then there is a shudder like an earthquake. Another follows that, and a third reverberates around the ship. Your computer screen goes blank. If you can just survive a few more moments ...

BOOM

The crew of the Mortis cheer as they watch a distant flash of light. Captain Sozin addresses them: "Good work, loyal defenders of the Local Group. However, it is also a sad day as we remember all those men and women aboard the Jarif."
