Ignore Shyanne's hand

You lock in your concentration on running. After a few minutes, Shyanne removes her hand. "Amazing," she says. "Most men would be distracted and fall off the pace."

"I'm not most men," you say, keeping your focus on moving your legs.

You hit a "runner's high" after a few more minutes and lose yourself in your mind while your body automatically keeps moving forward. You don't notice the time passing or the gym emptying out. You do notice when Shyanne hits the button to stop the machine, as you have to slow your pace abruptly to avoid slamming into her.

Shyanne turns her head. She'd apparently been lost in a runner's high as well. "You're still here?" she gasps in shock.

You nod and give her a smile. Then you look around. The gym is empty. "We're the last ones left," you say.

"No one's ever kept up with me before," Shyanne says, in an impressed tone of voice.

• Ask Shyanne to come back with you to your apartment
• Pull Shyanne into a hug and gently nuzzle her neck
