You put out your hands. You couldn't stop them from shaking. You are terrified. You have never touched a rat before. And even if this rat is your little brother, you think you are going to be sick...
Kwan must be getting a kick out of this, you figure.
He scuttle over to your fingers and rub against them. All you could think is, you hope this rat is Kwan and not a stranger. Yuk, yuk, yuk!
Then he clamber into your hand and curl up into a ball. Erk!
Charmaine's eyes are wide with horror.
"Poor Kwan..." she whimpers. She reaches over and pat him. "He must be tired!"
