You weave the spell, and conjure a cloud of fine stone dust. The dust catches in the sea breeze, and is promptly hurled back over you. It gets into your clothes and your boots, and stings your eyes. The spell takes hold and turns you into a petrified stone statue.
You can do nothing but stand frozen in place, watching the waves creep closer. You will never know the secret of Gaddu-Lay...
